So, I decided to make a custom portrait for my current character because none of the ones I were looking at really showed what she looked like.

概要

Where to locate the portrait files and what to look for.

Locate by doing the following: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Pillars of Eternity II\PillarsOfEternityII_Data\gui\portraits.

Open the folder portraits, click on player and then open that. Opening up that, there are two folders: male and female. When you open which ever one you decide on, there are four images you want to copy to use in an imaging editing software.

Example of those would be: female_elf_l_convo.png, female_elf_l_lg.png, female_elf_l_si.png, female_elf_l_sm.png

Now what I did to get my custom portrait was that on the level up screen, it shows your character and where you can zoom in closer to the face. I took a screenshot using Lightshot which is a free screen capture tool.

Once you have edited and saved the images, you can select on your character in the character sheet and click on the portrait icon and scroll through to find the one you made.
