The voice pack is already inside the file you just downloaded—`1379821974.vpk`.
That number matches the Workshop item ID at the end of this page’s URL.
You’ll also find a copy of the same file after subscribing here:
`C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Left 4 Dead 2\left4dead2\addons\workshop\1379821974.vpk`
To open or extract a `.vpk`, use **GCFScape**. A clean installer/zip is linked from the official Valve Developer Community page ([ https://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki/GCFScape ] (https://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki/GCFScape)) , which points to the GameBanana mirror: [ https://gamebanana.com/tools/26 ] (https://gamebanana.com/tools/26) .
Hope this saves you a few minutes of head-scratching!
thanks :D
