This crash is not from gemcore, it's from whatever mod added the prefab: "buff_critter_kitten"

There may be some side effects somewhere with the mods and setup but the logs point to the gemdictionary changing the target parameter to an invalid entity reference. Target changes from 160767 to 160696 inside of the gemdictionary part of the mod.
