To be able to obtain the artifact without cheating it is very simple!
Go to the second artifact, look on your right, there is a computer which shows a message in red, activate it, it is going to switch off the artifact, (you will never save Timmy),

go out by the cave (after you take the elevator), you can see rope for go down in the cave, remember this location,

now go out of the cave (in the same time you will unlock the tab family in the survival book),

go in the boat and open the door who is locked with one of the keycards that you found in the laboratory, take the small artifact on the bed,

return at the rope location in the cave of the end of the game, go down and put the artifact in the pedestal,

TADDAAAA!

How its work:
When the artifact is activated red (left click) the cannibals are attracted

When the artifact is activated blue (right click) the cannibals are fear of it
