1) Settings
It took me individually about 1year+ to find my right settings. Finding your right settings is very important.

-General Setting Do's and Don'ts

⠀⠀⠀• Don't go off of what professionals use
⠀⠀⠀• Use whats comfortable
⠀⠀⠀• Try to not switch your res/sense too often, it can mess up you're gameplay significantly
⠀⠀⠀• Use the video settings that benefit you

-Lauch Options

Launch options modify gameplay

-console
This will enable the console as soon as you get into the game. It’s useful for making sure your config files have loaded properly, but unlike with Counter-Strike: Source isn’t required to make the console show up when you press its hotkey (more on this later).

-novid
Turns off the Valve intros, saving you precious seconds every time you boot into the game

-threads [number]
Tells the game how many CPU cores it has access to. Recommended to set this to however many cores your computer has (probably 4). Exactly whether this will improve or decrease your performance is specific to your computer, so enable or disable this command as necessary.

-tickrate [number]
The tickrate is the number of times per second a server updates the status of everything on it. Most matchmaking servers run at a tickrate of 64, which is the default for local games you host offline. If you want to change to the competitive server tickrate of 128, change to that with this command.

-fullscreen
Loads the game in fullscreen

-windowed
Loads the game in a window. These commands set the width, height and position:

-noborder
Removes the border around a window.

-language [language]
This forces the client into a certain language. Useful if you want it in English but have a non-English Steam client, or vice versa.

Aim Practice
Training Schedule

Aim takes time

- Obviously, doing one aim practice will not significantly overnight. When I was high silver/low gold nova I had a practice schedule.

Aim Map - 15min
KZ - 15min
Aim Map - 15min
DM - 15min

- I'd repeat this schedule over and over for a long time. It also doubles as a warm up routine, works very well. This may not be the best for you but working hard on any practice will get you somewhere.


Reaction Time
- Reaction time plays a big part in aim. It's impossible to have good aim and bad reaction time in my opinion. If you want to improve your reaction time there are specific aim maps and websites.


Aim Conclusion
- Ultimately, aiming comes down to straight practice. The more you practice, the more you improve.

What's Gamesense?
- Gamesense is the sense you have when playing CSGO or any other strategic game. For example, when you are in a 1v3 and making the appropriate decision is called "gamesense". Gamesense is plays a huge part into pursuing CSGO.




How To Get Gamesense?
- Gamesense usually comes down to just playing over a long time. Learning on how people think at what ranks can help you improve gamesense. Personally, I watch a lot of CSGO so I see the highest ranks gamesense. [except when I watch swaggersouls]

How To Deal With Toxicity
Toxicity Sucks
-With my experience in CSGO, everytime I get atleast ONE toxic player we lose the match. I've learned over years to deal with it. If we just keep chill and do not fight back with more toxicity they eventually shut up. If this does not work, mute them and focus on the game.

-Toxicity can affect gameplay, being called bad or anything can greatly affect a players performance.
