Chivalric Societies

This mod adds orders of knights as societies. At any point during the game, a feudal catholic king or emperor with at least 15 martial or 15 diplomacy, 500 piety and 5000 prestige can found an order knights. They will then have the possiblity to pass it on through their family maintaining control of it. There are 6 possible orders that can be created,3 military and 3 diplomatic, with each group being mechanically similar but differing in which family sits at the top. The military orders have a randomly assigned name between: Order of the Star, Order of the Dragon and Order of Saint George. The diplomatic orders are: Order of the Garter, Order of the Thistle and Order of the Golden Fleece.
Any catholic can join this order as long as they have at least 10 martial or diplomacy respectively.
As a knight you will be able to recruit a squire either with a decision similar to the find a physician or by choosing a member of your court. You will then have events pop up allowing you to deal with their education up to the point where you will be allowed to knight them and have them join the order.

These orders are loosely based on the monarchical orders of the late middle ages but I was not particularly concerned with historical accuracy.

There is a game rule where you can decide if women should be allowed in always, never or under at least female marshals law.

It should be compatible with most mods, I personally use it with CK2+ and have made the orders available also to chalcedonians. It is also compatible with Orders of Chivalry by Maal.
