Bringing your grandpa 106 home will be difficult as he's usually off his meds. Make sure to do your best to help him when you encounter him. There are a few key things to remember when you want to help guide him home.

1. Make sure he recognizes you
Most of the time he'll be confused and scared, going on a bit of a rampage. He'll have heard of some meanies trying to put him in a retirement home so he'll most likely be running around trying to stop them from going to get him signed up. When you first see him, make sure he doesn't think you're trying to put him in a retirement home. Simply tell him that he's gone off his meds and that he's a tad dillusional.

2. Know where the retirement home is
Your grandpa 106's retirement home is always in heavy containment. You can recognize it as the big spacious room with the metal slowly rotating giant cube in the middle of the giant space. It;s right above his real home. He won't like it if he finds you in here so make sure to stay out of it if you're not with him.

3. Treat him kindly
The biggest thing to remember is that you have to treat him kindly. If you treat him like an ugly old man he's not gonna like it very much. You have to be kind. Complement his looks. Say he looks very shiny and black today. Making him feel welcome and happy can make all the difference when helping guide him home.

4. Alert him if you've been in his sex dungeon
If you've been in his sex dungeon and you're alive you must alert him. Make sure he knows that you just want to help him and that you've survived the horrors of his dungeon. If there's a clear path out, it's very important you alert him as he will know he has to stay home and defend himself.

Encountering him for the first time is the hardest thing to do when you're trying to help him out. When you see him for the first time it's important to let him know it's you, his grandson/grandaughter. He's easily confused and needs to be able to tell you apart from people trying to put him in a retirement home and sex dolls. Here's some simple steps on how to do it.

1. Show him the sign of peace
A simple way to let him know you mean no harm is to just tell him. Unlike other SCPs like the peanut and the doctor, there's no easy way for him to recognize you. Tell him that you just want to help him find his way home and that you will do anything he needs.

2. Explain to him the situation
As he's a confused and dillusional old man, you'll need to help explain what's going on. Tell him that he's off his meds and that he can't recognize you. Establish a connection with him on a personal level and explain that there are other that want to hurt him, but you don't.

3. Do No Harm
Under no circumstances should you damage your grandpa 106. He will never take kindly to being shot at, and for good reason. He's very durable, so it's possible for him to forgive you; Don't take it too far though!

Being the hardest step, it's very possible he won't recognize you and continue his blind rage. If you can find other SCPs to bargain for you with him, that will help a ton. Be kind to your grandpa 106 and all of his friends. If he really wants to continue his rage, don't blame him. When he's off his pills he's a crazy man.

The biggest thing you need to do is to remember to help him make it home. The best thing you can do to help him make it through is to activate the nuke when outside. Once you have him all better and on your side, convince him to do the following plan.

1. Activating the nuke
Withing heavy containment lies the nuke room. It's an elevator with a big screen above it that says ALPHA WARHEAD. Head on down and bring your grandpa 106 if he wants to come but don't force him. Just go and flick the switch to on. Make sure no-one is trying to turn it off.

2. Heading to the surface
On your way to the surface you'll need to find the Entrance Zone gate and go through either Gate A or Gate B. Having a keycard that could open it is signifigantly helpful, but one of the gates could already be open. Avoid contact with anyone trying to stop 106 on his faith journey on your way there. Bring any other SCPs on your way there however, as they would want to escape too.

3. On the surface
Your grandpa 106 is helping you activate the nuke. He used to be able to just activate it but since the patch you need a keycard with full containment access to pull it open. Once the nuke goes off he's great at giving you a helping hand to finish off any unwanted guests. Just be weary that once on the surface NTF/MTF and Chaos Insurgency could spawn. Chaos might want to help your grandpa 106, but don't count on it. NTF will almost always want to take him down.

Once the nuke goes off, help your grandpa take out anyone else delaying the round. If you yourself need to die for the round to be over, be kind and let your grandpa take you to his sex dungeon. Once it's all over, congratulate him on his good work. Your grandpa will never be more proud of you after that.

He also likes being worshiped with disarmers. Give disarmers to him as gifts. I don't know what his obsession with disarmers is.
