Innovation is natural for Osa while she reinforces the attacking team's position. She can deploy the Talon-8 clear shields on doors, door or window frames or keep it in hands to navigate through the map. The Talon-8 shields are bulletproof but transparent and let both side see through so be careful when positionning them. Additionally, Bank, Clubhouse and Coastline see some changes to add more comfort.

Thunderbird uses her ability to protect and heal. She can deploy Kóna stations at several places on the map and operators standing next to them can absorb their charge to heal themselves. The Kóna stations can overheal and even revive a downed operator. But be careful though, both allies and enemies can use them! Additionally, Favela sees big changes with a rework.

Operation Ember Rise is adding two new Operators to the Rainbow Six Siege roster. The first is a Defender named Goyo, whose Volcán Shields provide deployable cover with a fiery, explosive surprise. The second is an Attacker named Amaru, who can use her Garra Hook to quickly zip up to rooftops, exterior windows, open hatches, and skylights. And new Operators aren't the only thing changing up the Siege landscape this season; the Kanal map is set to receive a significant rework.

Appropriately called Fortress, the map is modeled after the distinct architecture of a Moroccan Kasbah, and is designed to offer Operators a variety of tactics.

Road to Six Invitational 2019

Road to Six Invitational 2019 was special event which started on January 25th and ran every weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) until February 18th. Playlist was accessible on the main menu through the Discovery Playlist. This event included features and settings like Siege Esport Map Pool and Pick & Ban.

Operation Grim Sky is deploying Clash and Maverick. Experts in mob behaviour and high-precision strikes respectively, they'll also assess the new training facilities at the reworked Hereford Base.

Year Three Season Three is bringing forth modifications to address weapon sights misalignment, an adjustment with the Operator Idle Pick, and improvements to dynamic resolution scaling on consoles. Outbreak was a first and same biggest limited time free coop event taking place within Operation Chimera expansion. This third season will showcase a reworking of the Operators and maps following an optimization of our data, namely a rework of textures, polished dynamic and static lighting, richer sky domes, new customization, and much more.

The update adds new weapon skins and a Spectator Camera, switch between a tactical overhead view and free-cam & first-person view.

The Technical Test Server (TTS) is an alternative version of Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege game available to all players who own the game. The feature allows players to test new gameplay features that may be added in future patches on servers separate from the base game they are played on. When joining the TTS, a copy of the player's account is made specifically for the test server. Progression in the TTS is separate from the full game.
