[SP/CO-OP 06] World War 2 | Backup Plan

Backup Plan is the first installment of my World War 2 series, which will most likely include several fronts. Backup Plan is a 1-6 player Co-Op mission in which British Army troops fight the elite Waffen SS to liberate Europe from the Third Reich.

Situation:
"The situation is as follows: The US 82nd Airborne tried to drop here on D-Day -1 and D-Day, but were shot down by heavy Flak fire and those who did land were stranded and scattered. Even though their operation was a washout, operation Overlord was a success, and now we are to finish the job.

What the Yanks lacked and we have is armour. You have a Firefly at standby, altough we have confirmed enemy AT guns watching the most southern roads. If you take those AT guns out the Firefly could help you with your objectives."

I would usually ramble more on the story or something, but with my World War 2 series I plan to make it all about that action. This mission is mostly historically accurate, by which I mean the 82nd didn't fail the operation on 5ft-6th of June, 1944, and there was never any Waffen SS situated in Chef-Du-Pont (not atleast during Battle of Normandy). One could say this is alternate history, just because I'm not going to give you precise depictions of what happend where and to whom. What I am careful about is the equipment. I won't give a German soldier on the Atlantic Wall say a PPsH or an SVT (I'm looking at you, CoD WWII) and before you tell me one of the Tommies has an STG in one of the screenshots, it's intentional. During that run my ammo got depleted and thus I picked up an enemy weapon.
