About the model
The Fifth building of my New England series, this building is located in Boston, Mass. After having a look in Chinatown this building struck me as a perfect candidate for a cornerbuilding. If you see the photograph you'll see why it wasn't that hard to model: got really lucky with the angle.

This model has about 5725 tris and a 2018x512 texture , with a diffuse, normal, illumination and specularmap.This model has a custom LoD, which is about 68 tris with a 384x128 texture, with a diffuse, specular and illumination map.

About the building
The Chauncy House was built in 1922 as the Wendell Phillips Building and was converted from offices to housing in 973 through HUD's Section 236 Program. The 12-story building is listed in the National Register of Historic Places. It contains 22 studio and 66 one-bedroom apartments. The building also contains 3,400 square feet of commercial space on the ground floor as well as a community room for the residents.
