Me and a friend found a bug on 28/03/2018 by getting infinite lockpicks. In this guide we'll show you how to do it.

Traveling to the Prison Island

The first thing you have to do is to go to the place where you can go to the prison.

After doing this you click on the poster with the button [f] and you will be teleported to the prison

Way to the Bug place

Now you are at the Prison!

The next step is to secure the area and go to this building. ↓

After you go there, you enter the building and follow this ↓

Now you found the bug place and the lockpick ↓

How to do the Bug?

After you have found the lockpick, you take this and run in the opposite room in the back left corner like this. ↓

Now you can easily go back to the place where the lockpick was and pick it up again

Jonni yeah but that wastes time for prison speedruns where you need to lockpick very fast

Or you know... You can just stop the lockpicking minigame before you break your pick, as this resets the durability of your pick but doesn't change the sweet spot location.

Nah, the respawn of materials is not really a bug. Actually it's very usefull, e.g. to farm herbs and stuff. Was nerved with one of the latest Content Drops. Now you can't farm Houshold Supplies anymore (the EZ way). And few other things, too.

Why you even need to bug it, lockpicks are cheap

i played with 5 lockpicks throughout whole game.... you can very easily NOT break them
