(Video currently outdated & has DoF blur activated)

ReShade[reshade.me] is an effects suite that lets you add various post processing effects to most games.
The files below contains a easy-to-install version with my custom tweaks and settings to pretty the game up without going overboard.

- Color, Contrast, B&W Level Tweaks: Brings some life back into the world of Warhammer.
- SMAA, Lumasharpen: Smooths edges, player/item oulines, and compensates for the game's overbaring sharpness filter.
- McFly DoF, Gaussian Blur, Prism Chroma, Ambient Light: The pretty stuff.

- Open "Vermintide2CinematiceModV2.zip"
- Drag & Drop the mod's "binaries" folder into your Warhammer Vermintide 2 folder
- Click "yes" if Windows asks to overwrite anything.

EXAMPLE: C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Warhammer Vermintide 2

- Open ...\Warhammer Vermintide 2\binaries\dxgi.ini with Notepad.
- Change the first four lines under [General] to match your Vermintide installation directory.

- Launch Vermintide 2 using Steam and wait for the Vermintide 2 launcher to start
- Click Settings in the launcher (Not the in-game settings menu!)
- Make sure "DirectX Version" is set to "DX11"
- Click Accept.

When you start Vermintide 2, you should see a temporary black bar across the top with some ReShade loading information.

• SHIFT+F2 - Open Reshade menu
  
• SCROLL LOCK - toggle all effects
  
• PAUSE/BREAK - toggle Depth of Field blur
  
• PRINT SCREEN - Reshade .BMP Screenshots

- As always, fiddle with your ingame Gamma setting if the game is too dark/bright.

- Because ReShade effects are applied to entire screen, HUD elements will be blurry; Including menus. Hit the PAUSE key to toggle the effects on/off.

- As of version 2, the Depth of Field is turned off by default.
Click PAUSE key to turn it on.

If you wish to permanently turn on the DoF or start the game with it on and turn it off yourself using the PAUSE key:

1. In-Game: hit Shift+F2 to open the ReShade menu
   
2. In the Reshade Menu: click the Settings tab & set the usage mode to Editing
   
3. Click back to the Effects tab & check the box next to "MartyMcFlyDOF"
   
4. Return it to Performance mode & close the menu
