Fuel Cell 12meter Bus For Your City



If you're interested in going into the newest in bus technology, the Van Hool A300L is available in a fuel cell drive. With completely no emissions (outside of water), this bus is great for the environment but has a need for unique charging facilities where it can exchange its hydrogen tank. Needless to say, it's a must have for a green city.

Use Improved Public Transport Mod to select buses for each line and change capacity!

All stats are the same as the default biofuel bus. Use Advanced Vehicle Options Mod to change it to fit your needs.

Derived from Sketchup Model[3dwarehouse.sketchup.com]. Flipped Normals, Redid Texture. Created Rear Segment through squashing bus and then remapping the rear segment. Length is the correct length (the XD60 is actually too long).

Prop. No UK/Left Hand Traffic version will be made by me. I don't have time. Ask LHD authors if they want to convert it.

I don't suppose you implemented a Fuel Cell bus depot or charging station to go along with the bus? I never got why the game designers decided to make biofuel busses quiter then standard busses since they are still just a deisel engine. Fuel Cell busses, on the otherhand, are electric engines and therefor are quiter then standared busses. as well as being even more environmentally friendly since the exhaust is litterally exclusivly water vapor, while biofuel busses still produce co2+water vapor, same as deisal engines.

Ok, I understand. The thing is one usally uses birdview and then it is hard to spot the different lines, but maybe you find a solution someday (maybe just add a small part) :-)

All my line colors are at the bottom for a more uniform fleet. This is also because the NewFlyer needs serious revamping to change the line color to top.

Very cool bus and in every way superior to the vanillas except for one thing: the line color is only at the lower part of the bus and hard to catch.
How about changing the green roof to the color of the bus line? Helps to distinguish them faster. :-)
