Before you use my guide, why not try and find them yourself with some tips.

• Sometimes you can see secret items before you activate the secret.
  
• Secret doors do not open from attacks. So put your axe away and stop hitting walls.
  
• A general rule is that secrets are spaced out. If you've looking for a secret try a room or area you know you've not previously found anything. There are exceptions -- bigger rooms can hold multiple secrets.
  
• Check under stairs and raised platforms.
  
• Investigate pools of water for hidden entrances.
  
• Look for holes in rocks and walls. Openings can be small and dark.
  
• Hidden switches are usually above you at awkward angles.
  
• The planet launcher weapon can propel you to a greater height ( but do think of the planets first before you try ).
  
• Wall textures that look odd could be a secret door. Walk into them and see.
  
• High up? Look down over the edge.
  
• Fell down? Check behind you.
  
• Some secrets are time based.
  
• There are "hidden" items that do not qualify as contributing towards 100% secrets. Bummer.

9 secrets to find

• Secret 1

From the map's beginning, drop onto the cliff edge to your left and find hidden blue mana under the platform. That was easy.

• Secret 2

Under the water is an alcove with a hidden weapon. Serious Sam reference FYI.

• Secret 3

To the left of the Moon Cathedral is a cave. Shhh it's secret. Don't tell anyone.

• Secret 4

Before you stand on the blue switch there's a room you can enter between the rocks. Its angle makes it difficult to get a good screenshot. Yup you're gonna have to back track a tiny amount once you drop out. Fair enough.

• Secret 5

Enter the drain and find a hidden chamber.

• Secret 6

Jump onto the platform surrounding the pillar. A secret door will open. Welcome to the world of walls that move when you touch them with your nose.

• Secret 7

Under the water in the same chamber as secret 6 you will find a submerged entrance. Water = Secret. Simple and reliable secret maths.

• Secret 8

Near the end of the map is a dark-red room; if you go to the far end of a wall and look up you'll find a switch to fire on; and a secret passage will open. If you found this one by yourself pat yourself on your back boomer.

• Secret 9

Well how about that. A secret was added Amid early access. Crouch under the gap in the stone fence and pick-up the blue mana.

7 secrets to find

• Secret 1

Beyond the damaged grate is a platform that will take you to a spooky underground maze. Run for that Trident.

• Secret 2

Jump across from here and collect the Soul item. Super easy!





Or jump from here. You know. If you want to.

• Secret 3

Under the stairs is a hole you can drop into. Acts as a shortcut too so we've really achieved something today.

• Secret 4

From this vantage point you can jump across and the collect the mega health. Points for first try ;) It's a tricky jump.



Look I did it first try (not true).

• Secret 5

The secret weapon (oh baby!) can be dropped onto from above, or you can slip under the masonry. Decisions decisions. We're almost playing an immersive sim.

• Secret 6

Immediately drop off the lift and find a secret underneath.

• Secret 7

The esteemed "me.brown" has informed me that a strange early access day item spot has been updated to a secret.

6 secrets to find

• Secret 1

Drop off the starting platform and find a hidden stash underneath. Did you learn from map 1? It won't be the last time we check our six.

• Secret 2

Under the bridge in the opening area are mana pickups. This should not be a secret.

• Secret 3

Fall onto the piece of rock and enter a secret passage. Above lava no less. Lava! We're in Quake territory now.

• Secret 4

Swim under the green water to the far end. And you thought it was acid.

• Secret 5

Shoot the red switch in the "sewer" to reveal a secret room.

• Secret 6

After exiting the circular tunnels, rocket (planet) jump onto a higher platform.





It's possible to rocket jump again onto the higher, purple ledge corner.



Crouch-move slowly to the centre and jump up to collect the items.



Rocket jumping is looking at the floor and firing the planet launcher ( jumping simultaneously to get higher ). Don't worry about losing health as the pickup gives you 200HP instantly.

If someone knows an easier way to do this let me know!

1 secret to find

• Secret 1

Shoot the red switch on the ceiling. It will open a passage into the centre of the room. Thank the lovely bloke who left the message and go kill that Moon Guardian. With extreme prejudice.

2 secrets to find ( Yes only two. Pathetic )

• Secret 1

In the room with moving cubes there's a switch above and behind you as try to stay alive. Continue following the cubes until you see the revealed weapon. Free tip: you can move into the middle room and shoot the switch through the grating.

• Secret 2

Jump and crouch through the wall gap. And that's a wrap with this map already.

5 secrets to find

• Secret 1

A small tunnel is pinpointed by my weapon crosshair. You'll see the secret room later and feel smug you've already got the items inside.

• Secret 2

There's a gap in the wall you can jump across and enter. At least on my monitor it's quite hard to distinguish. This secret took me 2+ hours to find :/ Like DEVS. ADD MORE LIGHT PLEASE!

• Secret 3

Once you use the silver key ( a key for a button??? ) the wall will move backwards. Quickly take the left or right route inside and get ahead of the moving wall before it blocks access to the secret room. If you're too slow you're screwed.

• Secret 4

Jump across the ceiling beams - like a ballerina - and find the pickup in the corner. Quicksave has your back if need be.

• Secret 5

Continue past the purple mana and drop down over the edge. No Elevator back up :/





Halfway through the guide ( well that's BS as we have up to Episode 6 now ). Are you sure you don't want to find them yourself? No? Excellent, my work will not go in vain! Onwards!

5 secrets to find

• Secret 1

Shoot the hidden switch and a very small elevator will drop where the ceiling beam meets the wall - run quick! Standing on the beam activates the secret. Dude, like a secret, for standing on a bar of wood. Come on.







Of course if you follow the wooden beam you might find something something something dark side.

• Secret 2

The wall in the screenshot is a secret door. Simply walk into it and it will open - remember, with the nose.

• Secret 3

After the cubes rise out of the water go under the bridge. There's a pool of water you can dive into and follow to the secret. Water secrets are the best.

• Secret 4

Take the elevator to the top of the tower.



Jump across the ceiling beams and enter a triangular shaped room.



Walk into the blue switch.



Shoot the red switch outside the triangular room.



Shoot another red which appears.



Step up to the activated platform ( will trip the secret ). Phew.

• Secret 5

Continuing on from secret 4, stand at the edge as shown. The wall above the switch will move when you jump towards it. Have faith. Jump. Jump at the wall.

3 secrets to find

• Secret 1

Under the stairs is a secret pickup. You'll want this on Evil difficulty.

• Secret 2

In the left wall pipe is a secret item. Jump across inside, or climb above and drop down and enter.

• Secret 3

In the right wall pipe is a secret item. Jump across inside, or climb above and drop down and enter. Deja vu?

7 secrets to find

• Secret 1

Walk into wall highlighted by the crosshair and it will open. And there began my obsession of walking into EVERY wall marked with red and orange.

• Secret 2

There's a secret passage underneath. Quite difficult to see, but my crosshair is right on it. Stand above and fall inside. Azis! Light!

• Secret 3

Directly above the gold key is an elevator controlled by a blue switch. Activate the blue switch, run quickly up to the next level and jump onto the elevator. It will take you up to the secret. Timed secrets are a personal hatred.

• Secret 4

After raising the stair platform, stand here and jump across to the set of cubes.



Jump again onto a stack of cubes - a long but very possible jump.



Collect the fly pickup within the hollow cube.



Fly over to a gap under jutting rocks at the side of a wall. It glows pink inside. Pinky pink pink.

• Secret 5

In the lava floor room, face the wall indicated by my crosshair. Go poke at it with your nose and it will magically open. Careful not to fall down into the lava. My guide does not help against lava burns. ( thanks Johnny_K for reminding me to add this one after I forgot to put it in the guide! )

• Secret 6

Use the fly pickup; planet jump; or simply jump from one of the nearby ramps, to get inside the hole in the wall. Snug and cosy in there? Well get out because the next secret is amazing.

• Secret 7

(are you ready for this rookie) Behind where the giant stone Golem spawns, follow the narrow path up.



Follow the path to the otherside of the room.



Where the path ends jump down into a small gap.



Follow a second path to its termination (metroid influence?)



Jump across onto a platform with torches on either side and purple mana.



The wall with the orange/red markings will move when you jump towards it.





You'll find yourself in a maze that will require you to navigate to find the last secret. You'll have to backtrack too. No I don't have a map.

8 secrets to find

• Secret 1

A secret item is hidden to the side of the ramp. The mapper couldn't be bothered to hide it properly :)

• Secret 2

Under and behind this ramp holds the second secret. Hurrah for easy secrets!

• Secret 3

Drop down onto the thin walkway and follow it under the raised platform ( you can also drop onto the suspended block and jump across to the secret, if you wish to do so ).

• Secret 4

Under the water and behind rocks is a secret pickup. Clean.

• Secret 5

Ride the elevator up and jump into the recess with the purple weapon. I thought it was purple seaweed. Like radioactive purple seaweed.

• Secret 6

As you naturally progress ( unless you've got cheat codes on ) with the level you'll find yourself at this vantage point.



Jump across to the cubed platform and you'll see a very narrow pathway at the edge.



Follow the narrow pathway and jump across to a second narrow platform. It will raise you up to the secret.





Go left and right for items.

• Secret 7

When you enter turn around and in the corner is a secret pickup. He who checks his corners is rewarded.

• Secret 8

Above the water near the end of the map is a switch to shoot. It will open a secret passage a little further on. Textbook secret. The same textbook I'm gonna hit you with if you didn't figure that one yourself.

6 secrets to find

• Secret 1

Simply crouch and go under the thin passage where the water leads. If you run and crouch you'll slide...weeeeeee.... (at least in early access????)

• Secret 2

Under the massive pool of water is a switch. I don't know why I placed a screenshot of the super obvious entrance, but I'm supposed to be helping you.

• Secret 3

Inside the huge temple go to the centre and look up. Shoot the hidden switch and it will open a passage directly below. Apparently shoot switches only come in red.

• Secret 4

Once crossing a bridge inside the huge temple, jump down where the crosshair indicates - next to the blue fire. There's a hidden switch under that opens a secret room opposite. This temple chamber is huge so it's no surprise there's a second secret. Or a third one for that matter.....

• Secret 5

From here jump onto the raised platform at the edge of the walkway.





Follow the edge back up the ramp.







Jump down to the secret alcove at the end. You should be an Amid Evil secret master now. Don't read further episodes. You can still rate my guide 5 stars though. Please.

• Secret 6

This secret has been added late to the party. It NEVER used to be a secret. But no one tells me anything :D From the ramp shown, instead go left and down a narrow passageway.

1 secret to find

• Secret 1

Under a raised platform is a secret pickup. The last secret before for Episode 4. I hope you had fun cheater. I hope you laughed a little bit. Thanks for reading so far.

7 secrets to find

• Secret 1

From the starting point turn round and pass your way through the red flora. I know it's been a while since episodes 1-3 and you might be rusty, so I'll let you of if you didn't get that one ( this Episode was months and months after the first 3 - bringing some historical clarity to my remark :D )

• Secret 2

After the first magic floating elevator, look under the floor to the left. Yeah I know, two secrets so soon. 5 glorious more to find. Can you find them without me?

• Secret 3

Run along the precipice and investigate behind the cliff again by jumping down. OMG THEY DID THE BEHIND THE CLIFF SECRET TWICE. Easy pickings.

• Secret 4

Once you progress further in the map there comes a point where you'll be in this long corridor. Go to the edge and drop carefully off to find the secret. Like, the secret is floating right there in plain sight.

• Secret 5

Make The Champion's small legs jump onto this beam, and then across to the secret pickup - which again is in plain sight.

• Secret 6

In the long corridor again (shall we nickname it the secret corridor? ) go into one of the alcoves and look up to find a secret switch. Shoot and the wall opposite will slide open. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ do I hate hidden ceiling switches and finding them.

• Secret 7

Aha the old under the stairs malarky. Don't worry the tiny Champion will fit. It's been fun finding more secrets.

8 secrets to find

• Secret 1

In the beginning chamber check behind the stairs and look for a crack in the wall to find the first secret. Pay your respects to the dead dude and continue secret hunting.

• Secret 2

Cool your Champion feet in the blessed water and jump through a hole in a grate.

• Secret 3

From la position presented in the screenshot below, check under the stairs. There's more than dust under there.

• Secret 4

Secret walls are the best kind of secret; wouldn't you agree. Anyway, under the platform touch the wall with your giant Champion Trident....and see what happens.

• Secret 5

I needed 5 screenshots for this secret. So good luck with that.

• Secret 6

Follow the path around the top of the buildings. You'll do just fine.

• Secret 7

Looky look round the edge of the map and you will be rewarded. Careful that's real death if you fall. LAUNCH 1.0 has removed the rock ledge, making it tougher and less obvious.

• Secret 8

Get on to the top of this platform by any means necessary. AERO is the easiest, or you can planet jump. I've also tested that it's very possible to use the fly pickup on the map to get onto this platform - there's exactly enough time - just don't go in the water. Or you can leave it and get a very unsatisfactory 7/8 secrets found.

5 secrets to find

• Secret 1

Go to the back of the cliff and find hidden goodies. You know, cuz cliffs always have hidden goodies.

• Secret 2

Look up after passing under the arc. The switch will open a cage below. ( Solar dudes placing the button to their cage here makes no sense. Conclusion: the solar dudes are dumb )

• Secret 3

Drop down the hidden gap in the floor to find a secret underground passage. Okay I admit it, I got help on this one (thanks Leon). I AM NOT WORTHY. If you found this yourself have a virtual cookie from me ^^ (hardest secret in the game award goes to this one )

• Secret 4

After the entering through the gold door, there's a hidden item your right. If you went through backwards I meant your left.

• Secret 5

I suspect there's multiple ways to activate this secret, but here's my way. Mine involves base jumping, so it might be the most fun way. Anyway look down and see the mega health orb; jump and land gracefully, or miss and fail at life.

1 secret to find

• Secret 1

Jump onto the left circular platform from the starting position. Turn around and crouch-walk under the the gap. The secret makes a good place to hide from the boss.....not tested that so if you die then my bad...

7 secrets to find

• Secret 1

NEW EPISODE!

A pool of water a short way ahead where you begin contains a hidden goodie. You have a one in three chance of getting the correct pool first time. Good luck!

• Secret 2

See the hidden health orb? Jump over and grab it. if you missed this one it's probably because you were busy looking at the pretty lasers of death.

• Secret 3

From the awesome sight of the metal tower, turn either left or right and walk carefully around the walkway to find a collectable. Yikes, when that thunder flashes we realise we're pretty high up.

• Secret 4

Secret weapon! YAS! However using this guide you don't deserve it. See it in the distance; the tiny white pixels? Drop down onto the platform that goes under the fun slide. ( You totally deserve a new weapon ).

• Secret 5

See the red orbs opposite the raising/lowering platforms? Ride a platform and jump across. Grab them while they're hot!

• Secret 6

Behind the blinding teal light and cog is a secret cave. Lights so pretty you might walk right past this one. I know I did first playthrough. Second playthrough I had my secret goggles on and saw past the seduction.

• Secret 7

Did you swim through the gravity-defying water pipe? Backtrack over the pipe and drop to the right. Bingo. I'm a bit rusty (no pun intended) but it's been fun starting another episode. And what an amazing map.

5 secrets to find

• Secret 1

Entirely obvious to stick your body in harms way to activate a secret. Don't try to sharpen the axe.

• Secret 2

In the same room ( I love same room secrets ) there's a blue switch ( I already hit it so it looks black ), that opens a hatch on the floor, and provides access to tunnel with secret goodies.

• Secret 3 and 4

Of course there's two secrets in the swinging blade room. Go to the top most swinging blades. See a wall with yellow cracks either side of you? That's your secret rooms. You'll have to monkey across to the two rooms.

• Secret 5

From this vantage point look down and fall down onto the platform. The secret will be there. I haven't lied yet have I? Maybe I'll throw in a fake secret in the next episode to have some fun....

6 secrets to find

• Secret 1

Sneaky red switch above the ceiling pillars. Shoot it and a platform will lower on your left. Take the platform up and jump onto the fat pipe. The small platforms remind me of Quake so much - THAT IS A GOOD THING.

• Secret 2

A secret that involves running over a hazardous floor. Anyway.... from the metal beam take the left route and run like hell across the glowing green goo, ride the elevator up, position yourself to see the red switch and shoot. Grab the goodie ( conveniently health no less ).

• Secret 3

Super easy backtrack puzzle. Jump down between the rollers, take the passage named "silver key" and ride the wind tunnel to your ultimate secret 3.

• Secret 4

Did you like secret 3? Lets do it again but use the other passage "waste pool". Follow your way through a linear route. Funny enough the secret activates entering a room instead of getting near the destined pick-up???? I just noticed a have a pink tinge to all my screenshots due to having soul power available. I might sort that later...

• Secret 5

From the same roller room ( yes a third secret from this location! Who knows it might also contain the meaning of life ). Look down and see a red glow. Carefully crouch fall onto the ledge and claim what is rightfully yours.

• Secret 6

From beside the gold key door, jump onto the ledge and follow it over the stairs to, you guessed it, the final secret of E5M3. Can we take a minute silence and appreciate what a great map this is; E5M1 might be remembered for its visuals, but the real deal is this one *tips hat*

2 secrets to find

• Secret 1

There's a nice little ramp for you to step up and backtrack on the higher ground to the secret. That's nice.

• Secret 2

Behind the boss spawn point is a tiny platform with a pick-up. That's nice too. BEWARE: DO NOT attempt with boss in close proximity or the boss will likely knock you to your death. ADVICE: ignore my warning and live a little.

5 secrets to find

• Secret 1

Oh look a giant eye. I've seen that before in Episode 3. It's like there's a plot or something. Let's hope for more lore messages soon. Anyhoo, stop looking at the big creepy eye and check under the starting platform. The old secret-right-at-the-start-of-the-level trick.

• Secret 2

Talking about big eyes. Go climb in one of them and find a weapon! The mesh is cut for you to enter.

• Secret 3

After you get blown down the corridor via the magical wind, go back down the same tunnel and jump across to the pick-up. At least you can ride the wind a second time eh.

• Secret 4

From this vantage point over the twisty paths, look down and carefully crouch fall down into a small platform and collect your reward. If you miss you'll die.

• Secret 5

Close to a portal is a secret. Just look round the corner and find it safe, cosy and very angry you found it so easily.

6 secrets to find

• Secret 1

Boy oh boy this map is insane and bloody good. Be like Alice and enter the rabbit hole.
The first secret involves acrobatics; I can't help you with that. The first pic shows where you need to get on top of. To do this leave the room outside, turn back round and climb up the eye-like carpentry and jump across the wooden beams until you make it to the hidden item.







More nimble players will find a way to jump across to the beam under the secret straight away, but requires a very difficult side-step jump. ( thanks Forlorn for that information )

• Secret 2

Seriously, what is this? A secret for ants? Go through the super obvious hole in the wall.

• Secret 3

Be adventurous and walk across the thin wooden beams outside.....you activate two secrets if you run all the way (you don't)

• Secret 4

See the tiny black passageway? It will open aside for you and reveal a OMGAMEGAWEAPON.

• Secret 5

In the corridor with the water flowing across the ceiling. Fall down and collect the goodie.

• Secret 6

Fun way: This one's interesting. In the same room as the secret is a hidden planet launcher - NOT A SECRET SO I DON'T HAVE TO TELL YOU WHERE NA NA NA. Use the weapon to launch yourself up to the hole in the wall. Mega health will fix those wounds right up.

Proper way: I've been informed by the great gentleman Reverendo Bizarro, that you can use the chained sphere lamps as stepping stones. The last one will raise to the secret. Good work!

5 secrets to find

• Secret 1

The Circle? You run out of cool names or something? Hidden in a very very dark corner is a pickup. Possibly more but who knows it's that dark.

• Secret 2

Up the side of the cliff as a secret. I swear. It's really hard to see. How appropriate it's an invisibility power-up.

• Secret 3

Cool wizard statues. Cool place to hide purple mana.

• Secret 4

Jesus you're gonna need gamma at 200% to see this one from a distance. Jump across and find (without a torch) the secret. The first screen is a bit misleading...oh well it's uploaded now.

• Secret 5

The most obvious place to hide secret stuff. Nice of them to throw easy ones in with the ones that take me a good hour of mindless exploring to find.

1 secret to find

• Secret 1

You know what Episode 6 has not had yet? A shoot the target secret. And instantaneous unexplainable teleportation. Woohoo, one more Episode to go!

4 secrets to find

• Secret 1

Descent into Darkness? Descent into the first of Episode 7's secrets. Right at the very start. As I've said all along. Look behind you over the edge and fall. And you learned that falling is not the end. High five.

• Secret 2

From the first ringed/circular platform you come across, you'll see a mega health hidden underneath. Not gonna lie; the angle you have to fall and land on the thin platform is tough. But you're The Champion. Champion's eat difficult falls onto small locations for breakfast.





Standing here, falling backwards and moving slightly left will help. Sorry for low res graphics but I was enjoying my low res play-through.

• Secret 3

Okaaaay, this one. First of all I don't think there's a flying power-up ( prove me wrong! ). Under the giant water ball is secret purple ammo. To get to it you have to climb to a position to get onto the lowest moving ball, and then jump one by one to the top ball. Turns out their use is not only aesthetic.

• Secret 4

Remember where the road splits into two paths? Well they lead into the same room. In that room at the bottom far left is a secret item if you drop of the edge. Not even gonna attempt to explain the correct way and save myself some sanity - if you're killing enemies you're going the right way.

4 secrets to find

• Secret 1

Hidden in plain sight. Easiest secret of the game award. Da-Da!

• Secret 2

After the walls raise up and you fight for your life, there's a nicely hidden switch over the edge. Pressing it will open a secret staircase.

• Secret 3

This one. I got a lot to say about this one. Due to the design of the map, and the ability to planet jump across large areas I'm gonna bet my money there are multiple ways to get this secret. I don't have the time or care to find them out and post pretty pictures describing ABC what I did. Here's an easy way: from the vantage point shown on pic 1 and 2, simply run and jump across; you'll overshoot the teleport and land on X-marks-the-spot.

• Secret 4

Same spiel from secret 3 applies to this one. Acrobatic players will find a way of getting across here in style. Climb the stairs to the platform with the blue mana. Looking over the edge of the you'll see a small cluster of individual platforms; run and jump onto one of them. Side note: really cool easter egg referencing Episode 2. If wish there were more of these moments highlighting previous Episodes.

2 secrets to find

• Secret 1

After taking the elevator there's a secret on the outside of the room. Simple. Uncomplicated. Not like what you're about to go up against. But the secret will help. Maybe. God bless.

• Secret 2

So SPOILER PICTURE. I did warn ya. From the vantage point of the pic, simply fall down and land on the protruding platform. Definitely an Amid Evil vibe here.
