Party Setup

Step 1:
Make sure Makos is using Dark Luck specialization (circled in Red). Makos is NOT your main DPS, so also specialize Asharra appropriately (Human, in this case).

Maximize your Party DPS by subbing in Tyril instead of Barrowin and place him appropriately in formation (circled in Red). Remember, Tyril's Moonbeam buff is best when he's next to as few party members as possible.

Swap your main DPS out of the DPS position. This is to avoid killing mobs and let them stack on your tank(s). Nayelli will gain a damage buff for each mob stacked as well.

If you have room for Minsc, make sure he's specialized appropriately for your targets. In this case, it's Beast.

Pile on mobs

Step 2:
PILE ON THE MOBS. Let them pile on, until they stop spawning. You may also notice that they grow, glow yellow, and/or deal more damage. This means you are at the right spot!

If your tanks are dying, scale back a few levels, then use the money you gain from a Makos farm to level them up over the cap. They gain more HP and be able to tank higher levels longer.

Unleash the Ultimate

Step 3:
Change the position of your DPS (circled in green) so your biggest hitter is in the main DPS position.
Unleash the Ultimate! ...and collect your loot!

I gained about 1e32 gold for that one Ultimate on this level. I just happened to be at 237 when I made this guide. Your mileage will vary, but Makos earning gold like this will greatly boost your favor.

Method is now dead due to how mobs pile up on tanks now. You can no longer stack 100 mobs. Sorry all!

axe-As far as I know- Any time you see 'silver' coins is when Makos gets the killing blow. But, I don't bother with this anymore, with the new hero its basically impossible, she does so much damage she will kill-steal the Makos wall unless you can time it right.. It's really frustrating so I just gave up.

I've done this a couple of times, and it definitely works. It's one of the few times I see Platinum coins pop out.

@HQna - Yes, you use Makos' Ultimate. His Ultimate Damage only depends upon your total Party DPS, and not his personal DPS.

You don't need to specialize Nayelli in health. In fact, it's recommend that you don't, because she'll buff other members of your formation when she tanks more and more mobs.

She'll survive by having raw HP. You can level her up after her soft cap, and gain more HP. If you can't survive 100 mobs at your wall, survive as many as you can. Then pour that gold into more levels for Nay, and eventually you'll survive the full 100.

I guess you mean Makos' Ultimate, right? Or why would I hit with the Ultimate from my biggest DPS if that's not Makos? And do I need to specialize Nayeli in health? And how would she survive this long without healing?

One note- It's easier/better to just swap Makos and Jam/the DPS position- Easier because its just one drag and drop- And better because then Makos might even get a kill or two while in the DPS slot.

Also if your afk or doing other things, just keep the DPS in the same spot so it takes longer for the wave to reach 100 mobs and enraging and wiping the party making you earn zero gold D: Plus helps for if you are doing this while totally AFK and just macroing Makos Ult.

You nailed this method-
Another Makos gold farm method- Use Barrowin stacks to get as far as you can, then use Barrowin stacks on Makos at whatever point he can get kills... This might even be worth speccing Ash Teifling's buff...

I have no idea how the math works out though, and would require EXTREME baby sitting
