Introduction
Lords and Ladies!

Some of you have already tried him out in battle, and some of you are still thinking if hiring him is worth the coin, some of you are only starting to get into the game and are interested in everything - in any case, learning more about him will be useful to you :)

For your convenience, we've prepared a small guide which will help you to understand what this Hero is all about: what is he capable of, when he can be useful and will he suit you gameplay-wise.

So, let's go!
General info

Fanatic is a melee combat Hero. He can deal quite a huge amount of damage for a support Hero and save his allies with the help of his battle prayers. With necessary talents collected and put into the Hero's build, you can make Fanatic a dangerous assassin (using Strength talents) or a great support Hero with a nice combat potential (using Intellect talents).

Hero's features are:
1) In order for him to live up to his potential, it is important to comply with Fanatic's abilities conditions. This is extremely important if you are willing to play in support build;
2) This hero is great for leveling up at the forest and taking down single enemy Heroes;
3) Fanatic's health pool is rather average, especially for a melee combat Hero. You will have to be prepared to retreat or move along with your allies while playing this Hero.

Since the character is highly dependent on the use of skills, the most useful talent set for him will be the "Desperate Moment" one, which reduces the skills' cooldown and allows the Hero to use his talents several times in a row.
Basic skills
Dogma
Dogma is Fanatic's passive ability. Thanks to it, every Fanatic's auto attack reduces his basic skills cooldown. Wisely using Dogma can help you a lot in many game situations.

For example:
1) You will be able to cool Ritual Strike down to deal with creeps faster on the line;
2) Thanks to this ability, it is easy for Fanatic to level up in the woods even from the beginning of the battle. Combine Ritual Strike and Oath with reduced cooldown and Fanatic will be able to clear out any forest monsters out there.
3) Fanatic will be able to heal the hero who is tanking the Fire Drake as often as it is needed by hitting the beast with his auto attacks.

Ritual Strike
Ritual Strike is an active ability which can real a lot of damage to creeps and Heroes standing before Fanatic's eyes. The power of the ability depends on Strength.

Keep an eye on the unusual feature of this ability - the damage Fanatic does evenly distributes over all the Hero's targets! Therefore, it is completely unprofitable to hit the enemy while he is surrounded by creeps - you will deal him only a fraction of the damage you could have dealt.

The ability is useful for clearing the forest out our dealing target damage - whether it's a Hero, whether it's Kitton or Fire Drake. In the assassin's build, Fanatic can become a good ganker, who is able to easily kill lone enemy Heroes with the strong hits of his catarrh.

Oath
Fanatic's second active ability is not working in a regular way for healing abilities. After the Hero uses the ability, a small amount of time must pass before the target's health gets recovered.

Moreover, the healing power of the ability equals to the x2 amount of damage dealt to the target. This means that when you are playing Fanatic, you have to run some calculations to use this ability wisely. Cast the ability only when the targeted Hero is going to receive damage.
For example, a nice situation to put this ability to use is when you are fighting with forest creeps or when an allied Hero is rushing towards the enemy Tower. When used in the right time, Oath can heal a great amount of health points in a short period of time.

Another useful feature Oath possesses is debuffing negative effects from the target, but only when Fanatic is standing on Native Terrain. This may come in handy when enemy Heroes, such as Witch Doctor, are stunning your allies. Even Witch Doctor's trees can be sent to rest by the use of Fanatic's Oath.

This talent's improvement blinds all the enemies around the Oath's target. Blindness will prevent some of the enemy attacks hitting the Hero or his allies.

Leap of Faith
Third active ability allows the Hero to move actively around the battlefield. By using the ability, Fanatic will rush towards the selected point, and after you use it the second time, the Hero will return back to the point where the movement began. With the help of this ability you will be able to get close to the enemy, chase him or run away from him and escape the fight if needed.

This talent's improvement makes fanatic's rapid moves even more dangerous for his enemies - after every use of Leap of Faith, the Hero will hit the closest target with Ritual Strike.

As a result, this ability helps the hero to fully unlock his potential as an assassin by making it possible to chase enemies and inflict heavy damage on them while constantly maneuvering.
Ultimate skills
Sacred Vengeance
This ability reflects part of the damage received by the target back at the attacker. Please notice that the target of Sacred Vengeance does not stop receiving damage while the effect is active!

This talent's improvement increases the amount of damage reflected from 75% up to 150%. So, if there is no way to save your ally or yourself with the Oath ability, you can still make the enemies suffer using Sacred Vengeance. Let them get what they deserve!

Test of Pain
With the help of this ultimate, Fanatic can temporarily reduce the enemy current health pool by half. As a result, the enemy becomes a lot more vulnerable.

This talent's improvement will leave the enemies no chance on killing Fanatic. It will boost the Hero's amount of health by the same amount Test of Pain took away from the enemy.

Conclusion
Fanatic is a universal hero of both attack and support. He is suitable for standing on the line, clearing up the woods, ganking enemy Heroes and, of course, providing support for his Allies.

Regardless of how you set up his build - increasing Force or Intellect characteristics, - Fanatic's presence on the battlefield will not leave either enemies or allies indifferent.
