i think it's the name of the modeller. It's like the valve official models. If you look at hl2 citizens, i think they are called smthng like "valve/male_05.mdl". If you want a more well-known example, look at the fnaf models! EA's models are always called like "EverythingAnimations/W_Freddy.mdl".
