The Haunted Metal Scrap is a crafting ingredient introduced during the Scream Fortress Update
during the Halloween 2010 event.


Players may obtain this item by landing one of the killing blows on the Horseless Headless Horsemann with a melee weapon while remaining alive during the boss' death. Only a single Unusual Haunted Metal Scrap is obtainable per individual account due to it being linked to the achievement Gored!.

With the Haunted Metal Scrap you can craft 1 of 2 things:

Spine-Chilling Skull 2011 - A cosmetic item for all classes, This cosmetic item has three styles, Crafting will grant you a random style.

Spine-Tingling

Spine-Cooling

Spine-Twisting
















Horseless Headless Horsemann's Headtaker - A melee weapon for the Demoman, This weapon functions identically to the Eyelander, except for using the sounds used by the Horsemann's axe.

In the "Items" menu head to "Crafting" and choose "Special"
