'Goose' Miner Transport Truck

解説
This is the truck to end all trucks, and it was built (mostly) in survival.

This is the Goose, a semi-trailer and truck that was built in my survival series, I then took it into creative mode to add a few extra finishing touches including cleaning up the hotbars and adding some reactors to the trailer.

Due to limitations in the way that projectors work - they can't project subgrids - building this from blueprint in survival will not be easy. You will need a separate blueprint for both the truck and trailer and will need to build the hitch mechanism yourself. Even with this limitation hopefully being able to explore how this was built will be some fun :)

The hotbar controls are:

Hotbar #1

1. Booster thrusters on/off
2. Truck braking thrusters on/off
3. Trailer braking thrusters on/off
4. Brakes on/off for the truck wheels (this doesn't seem to work, but you can safely press P to park without disconnecting the miner on the back)
5. Trailer spotlights on/off
6. Safety lights on/off
7. Disconnect trailer - this will run the sequence of steps needed to disconnect the trailer and be ready to hook up again
8. Attach rotor to connect trailer
9. Lift trailer piston jacks

Hotbar #2 (Wheel controls)

1. Increase suspension strength
2. Decrease suspension strength
3. Increase wheel power
4. Decrease wheel power
5. Increase friction
6. Decrease friction
7. Increase speed limit
8. Decrease speed limit

If you have any questions about the design or any aspect of the build let me know and I'll do my best to answer :)

If you would like a version of the blueprint that's more easily projected into survival I've uploaded one with the truck and trailer connected via merge blocks:

I subscribed but for whatever reason i acnt get the cockpit to spawn with the whole thing. Says some blocks are not avaliable on this world??

I just finished building this trailer from scratch (according to your "Survival, maybe" episodes 27-29) , but something bad happen. The back part (2 last wheels) of the trailer is lifted up when i throttle with your miner at the back, resulting the truck won't move. I am on the Titan (Alien's planet moon) and i guess the gravity and the less weight of my back of the trailer is the problem.

Anyway without miner (empty trailer) this goose works great, it is just easily lifted up when i drive it (gravity problem again i guess) but i can still control it.

Any modification suggestion maybe? Cause i want to use this since i build it from scratch and don't want to waste it.

Thank you very much, and sorry for my bad english :D

Hope you do not mind, made a light version (no hitch) with an added lower connector. As always, linked to your original version(s).

Omg! After watching was watching some more of your videos, and Youtube ended up selecting your video on drones. Subject might not be related to the Goose hitch timers, but it had all the answers I needed to reverse engineer those timers and make it all work.

I haven't found the section where you setup the timer blocks in your videos. Could you point me the right way? Never messed with those, and I have to say that I was somewhat hoping I could learn how they work.

Also, for some reason, the angles that were preset for some of the rotors were wrong. After all that, I think I've finally got rotors about figured out. It was good practice, and oh the mistakes... There's something that just feels good watching your mistakes. Makes me feel better about my own.
