Large Single/Multiplayer survival base (Class 3)

Primary roles: Unlocks at player level 5, Inexpensive for it's size, Large hangar and landing pad, farm, deluxe crafting area.

The Sanctum Installation is a large full featured player base. It is inexpensive vs size being built mainly with concrete. Because of the use of items like LCD's, it will require a small amount of raw plastic material and very little sathium. Beyond that it it can be built with just basic resources.

It features a 108 grow plot farm (grow plots not included), 2 redundant engineering rooms, 2 reserve rooms (Extra space), large hangar, large flight deck, deluxe crafting area, 6 turret + 1 artillery hard point for 360 degree defense (Turrets not included), compartmentalized o2, personal quarters, and quick access to all survival needs.

The crafting area has locations designed for 6 constructors, 2 forges, and all other level 5 survival comforts. (Constructors and forges not included) It has room to add more items such as repair station and medical equipment (center open area). It also has a cooking area and a large amount of storage. It was set up to have room to add more items/storage/etc.thru out most of the base.

This would fall between the Sanctuary-ST starter base and the Sentinel Station in my current released bases. Please see my collection "Military Survival Series" for reference on the other bases. Link at top of post.

jrandall, sorry if I sounded like I was claiming it was my base in the previous comment. I meant to say my moddified version of YOUR base. Also I decided I want to do an even more extensive rework of your base and re-post it seperately from my LGL if that's ok. Among other things, the new moddified base would have all concrete blocks replaced with combat steel, partly to make retexturing much easier, and add additional A9 features. I hope that'd be ok. Thanks.

This one is future proofed for A9. Just need to swap out some boxes, and make some simple changes. Base design is below CPU count.

Not really, you can lower blueprints and spawn it at exact th right height für the foundations and doors etc.
But struts down to earth are usefull for larger buildings and are really convenient, if you need them.

Thanks Space Dandy. This base is a bit challenging to place due to it's size. What I do is try to find a flat place somewhere, place it, but then run around with a drill and raise the nearby terrain around the base, trying to make sure every place is touching. You are safe from collapse until you change or alter anything on the base. As in adding more blocks on the bottom, that just raises the base and makes it even more work to place it and raise the terrain to it. Thanks again.

Should probably add a large piece of foundation that juts off the bottom about 4-5 blocks down on the middle and four corners of this building, apparently if it's not on perfectly flat ground and you put a turret on one of the emplacement spots half the building will collapse.

This is what happens when the middle isn't supported on a barely noticeable dip in the terrain.
