ACI Helios Class Interceptor, produced by Ares Combat Industries

The Helios is ACI's main line production fighter for planetary operations. Substantial firepower, superior agility and significant acceleration grant the Helios to perform as the Interceptor that it is meant to be. It has been equipped with 4 Rocket Launchers and 5 Gatling Guns, which grants the fighter enough firepower to severely hurt an opposing force. Its high acceleration, provided by its 3 engines enable the Helios to get out of dodge if it is required. To sum it all up the fighter is the perfect all round fighter that can be used inside a planet's atmosphere.

The DRO was in dire need of a fighter that could perform well, not in space, but on in the atmosphere of planets. The DRO has mainly focused on space based combat and has excelled in this area. However, the war on planets was a different situation and this is why ACI has been contacted to create additional planetary installations, crafts, vehicles and infrastructure.



Many people have asked me about an atmospheric fighter and this is the end product. A fast and agile Interceptor that is able to land on ACI's very own landing pad. More atmospheric and planetary builds will follow after the "big one".
