Unlocking Blueprints
+A handy guide of usage
Blueprint Guide & Help
To unlock a certain blueprint follow the steps below:
1: Find the fragment-name.
i.e.
The interior piece "bio reactor" has a fragment by the name of "BioreactorFragment".
2: Find the name without the word "Fragment"
i.e.
To get the "unlock.blueprint.type" (as Dragenst1 calls it) first take the fragment name (BioreactorFragment) and remove the word "Fragment" from it.
external example:
"ReinforceHullFragment"="ReinforceHull"
3: Type into the in-game console the new name.
i.e.
To unlock the interior piece "bio reactor", type into the in-game console: "unlock bioreactor"
More information on: "unlocking blueprints"
Explanations from:
Dragenst1:
"In my opinion, the reason why the ability to unlock a ~blueprint~ comes from a ~fragment name~ is due to all blueprints being unlocked via fragments and in most cases not finding the actual blueprint. For example when I want to find the ~bio reactor blueprint~ I don't search for a databox with it on the label (most of the time), instead I find all 2 or 3 fragments required to ~unlock~ it. In a sense, the ~unlock~ console command is not in-fact spawning the blueprint for you to scan (or spawning it pre-scanned), rather it is ~unlocking~ all 2 or 3 fragments."
