Disable Chat Box

Tired of being called a noob in public games? Don't want to know when your teammates need help? This addon is for you!

I've set the chat box height and width to "0" essentially hiding it.

As the chat box is still technically visible I recommend unbinding your "Y" and "U" keys as pressing these will still "activate" the chat box meaning any inputs / mouse movements will be sent to the invisible chat window instead of the game itself.

to unbind keys open console and type:
Unbind Y
Unbind U

To bring back the chat box simply unsubscribe from this addon then go to console and type the following to rebind your "Y" and "U" keys:
bind "Y" "messagemode"
bind "U" "messagemode2"

You may need to restart your game in order for changes to take effect.
