Any modification of game files will most certainly disable achievements, I'm afraid.

I shouldn't think so. It's only visual enhancements.

Is there any BFG edition mods that add the Trent Reznor sound effects? Doom 3 Redux mod has the goods but it’s for the 2004 version

I made all this on Win7 and tested on Win10. Is it only the ReShade that you can't get to work, or is it the whole game? ..Which dll is missing?

it said I was missing dll's that pertain to Windows 8 up a friend told me.

It works just fine on Win7.
@Zeikar, did you set the resolution in the Steam Launch Options?
