Starving Floor REVAMPED

Turns Don't Starve Together into a wave-based arena. Upon spawning in, pick 1 of 9 classes and then work together to fend off waves of enemies, and the bosses that follow. Killing enemies earns you money, with the biggest earners being the ones who killed the most. Between each wave, you'll have limited time to spend your hard-earned cash on weapons, armours, and items to help you survive the next wave. The difficulty is dynamic, adjusting to the number of players on the fly and players can join at any time!

1. You have a brief period of invincibility upon spawning in, so if the game is already started, use it to make your way to base if you're unsure about which class to pick.
   
   
2. Dying in the Starving Floor means you'll become a corpse and your teammates will have to work together to revive you. It also means you'll take a max health penalty, so be careful! Giving a corpse a telltale heart allows you to instantly revive your fallen teammate.
   
   
3. All classes except for Escape Artists regularly receive items, up to a max amount (usually double what you receive each time you get items). Dropping any of these items will instantly delete them, which can be used to get rid of items you don't want. Some can be stored in chests or given to other players, but most can't.
   
   
4. Enemies won't drop loot except under special circumstances.
   
   
5. Boats can't be built in the arena.

Heavy

• The tank class. Starts with heavy gear and regularly receives more Marble Suits and a Froggle Bunwich.
  
• Does not get any weapons over time, so make sure you buy some!

Ranger

• Starts with a few melee weapons and reloadable Ranger darts (when it runs out of ammo, it will refill after some time). They also have a barrage attack if you right click with them.
  
• Also receives a couple ranged weapons from time to time.

Trapper

• Regularly receives various traps.
  
• Has a weak infinite Whip that can stun enemies and draw aggro so you can run them into traps.

Firefighter

• Requires the Battle Axes mod
  
• Specializes in axes, but also comes equipped to put out fires that threaten to burn your entire base down.

Mage

• Brings some modified staffs and books to take on groups of enemies. All staffs have a once-per-staff AoE spell and a chance effect on hit that deals damage and affects enemies in a small area.
  
• Comes with Bone Armour, which can be replenished with nightmare fuel and is helpful for protecting you while casting.

Medic

• In charge of keeping the team alive, but is also faster at reviving fallen teammates.
  
• Regularly gets Poultices, Telltale Hearts (for reviving players instantly) and Booster Shots.

Builder

• In charge of putting up walls and making armour for the team. Has an infinite Construction Amulet to make this more efficient. Also usually is in charge of making sure there's light at night!
  
• Brings 2 Houndius Shootius that will not heal on their own. Instead, you must repair them with stone materials (walls are the most efficient). Once they're gone, they're gone.
  
• Maximizing your production as this class is incredibly important!
  
• Extra tip: You can craft the stone walls, but other players can place and repair them while you work on other things!

Cook

• In charge of keeping the team fed. The worst enemy is an empty stomach!
  
• Starts with gear to set up some food production. Be careful, because if these burn down or are destroyed in any way, you'll need an Escape Artist and/ or a Builder to help you get them back!
  
• Regularly receives meat, butterfly wings, and bushes to sustain food production. Best to keep these away from the fight, or you'll risk a massive fire!

Escape Artist

• The only class that can leave the arena. In order to do this, at least one other player who isn't an Escape Artist must be alive in the arena, or you'll be teleported back.
  
• Receives no items periodically. What you start with is what you get. Find, craft, or buy other gear.
  
• Basically speedruns normal DST to bring back supplies the rest of the team can't get.
  
• Enemies are balanced for the number of players, so be aware that while gone, your team will be fighting a horde size intended for a bigger team!
