Modular Prewar Warehouse Pack

Mô tả
This is a set of 4x4 tile pieces to build your very own huge pre-war American warehouse or factory! This set is vaguely based on the old Budd factory on Hunting Park Road in Philadelphia, but it can be adapted for almost any purpose.

Features:

-3, 5, and 7 story versions.

-RICO compatible

-Seven modules for each version, including inner and outer corners, two kinds of loading docks, big overhead doors which are large enough for trains, and two straight modules (with and without windows).

-Individual modules range from 1000 to 3000 polygons; most fall in the 1500-2000 range.

-Custom LODs

-Only 1 1024x1024 texture sheet was used for all 21 modules included, so don't worry so much about the large file size since if you have Loading Screen Mod the bulk of that won't actually load.

I purposely did not include "roof junk" -- HVAC, stairs, etc. since it would get repetitive over several modules. Add your own roof junk using More Beautification.

Some kind of Road Anarchy mod is essential for placing the inside corner modules.

Roof junk isn't really needed at all , in fact, if you don't want it at all if you are placing these things en masse because it will produce repeating patterns. Giving people the option to decorate as they please is a very anti-urbanist thing to do. I approve :)

Do you have any plans to release your warehouse & factory assets as Industries warehouses?

These look great but have that slight problem where a lot of modellers make their roofs too white and in-game it's just this sea of snow-white gleaming roof. Could use some "roof junk" too, although I'm cool with buildings that let me add it via prop after.

thing about these factory buildings, at least in Philadelphia, ,any have been repurposed into apartments, lofts and hotels in gentrified areas.

Looks great but I think the texture is a little bit too bright, the whole building complex is shining and you can clearly see it shine from far away :D

I used to live right up the street from the old Budd factory... which was right by the old Tastykake factory... off of "Hunninton Park Avenue"... I grew up in East Falls, right off of Fox Street. Great memories.

Lovely factory set. I don't usually make requests, but if you ever have time and inclination, can you please consider making a 4x4 row piece with windows on two sides, for thinner factory blocks?
