Howdy!

This mod reduces screen gunk by toning down most of the post-processing effects.

Since Keen does not like giving us graphical options, I decided to make a mod to remove the crap that is smeared all over the screen. I have also reduced vignette and the chromatic abomination aberration. I think that the bloom looks real neat on the tracers, so I've kept it (but had to tone it down b/c it was blinding after removing the dirt).

Enjoy being able to see a bit better!


  • Removed greasy Cheeto fingers from the screen overlay
  • Reduced bloom
  • Reduced vignette
  • Removed chromatic aberration because it hurts my eyes
  • Tweaked eye adaptation (because it was implemented badly)
  • Reduced blinding sun glow a bit
  • Reduced atmospheric tinting


I used WonkaToads WonkaLighting 2.0 to figure out how to kill the eye adaptation :) Be sure to check out his flavor of graphical changes!

Vanilla issue. Suit light works fine, but sometimes it may require toggling a few times as the game hasn't loaded the needed resources yet. Running the game on a mechanical hard drive instead of an ssd makes it more noticable.

Huh. Wonder why it's not working for me. It *shouldn't* conflict with anything in my mod set...

Maybe it just didn't download correctly. I'll have to triple-check.

Nice now all i need is someone to wash my brand new cockpit windows I just fabricated. That or I need to find a better fabricator that will produce cleaner bulletproof glass... No idea why that details is in the game. I think it should only be temporary effects during bad weather or if damaged.

Issue seems to happen while playing the game on 4K
