SUMMARY: Is it the aftermath of Oscar Wilde's classic play?  Is history repeating a bloody Biblical account?  Tale of Tales' 3rd person adventure, FATALE, does not answer these questions but leaves the player to infer the story of Salome as the lights slowly flicker out...

MY REACTION: I thought the dancing animation was spectacular, the main musical theme catchy as heck, and the little anachronisms fascinating.  The rest of the game drips with the same pretentiousness that can be found throughout most of Tale of Tales' projects (these are the guys that made The Path and The Graveyard, to be clear).  I do applaud them for giving the game a (somewhat) classic point and click interface; it makes the game a bit more accessible to those who have trouble accepting the idea that games can be an art form.  Even then, it is still VERY niche; if you enjoy classic gameplay with your art, FATALE might push your patience.

After watching this video I finally understood the concept of putting out the lights. I eventually got them all, but I'm not sure how. It was a lot of trial and error. I never figured out a proper method.
