If you clicked on this guide chances are you either need assistance with getting said weapon or you are a genuine curious person. The Hunter's Stake is (as of 1/11/18) the most powerful weapon in AQ3D with a base stat total of 591. It's stats are overall pretty balanced and it makes the ornate scythe blade look like a toothpick. In this guide I will give a basic overview of the weapon itself and the fastest way to obtain it.

The Hunter's stake is currently the most powerful weapon in the game. It's stats are much better than that of the ornate scytheblade. Although the scythe blade has more haste, The stake has more attack, crit, and health. The weapon itself has an extremely low droprate which is speculated to be 0.2%.

Like most exceptionally rare items in AQ3D, you are going to have to grind on a specific dungeon or enemy. The Hunter's stake is no exception. The Hunter's stake is dropped by only one enemy, known as the Warwolf Chieftain, found in the Deepclaw caverns. To find the Warwolf Chieftain, you must enter the dungeon (which allows up to three total members), fight your way through three different rooms filled with warwolves, umbral wolves, and feral frogzards until you reach the final room. In the final room you must fight two waves of warwolves until you finally encounter the Warwolf Chieftain. Defeat him for a small chance at obtaining the Hunter's Stake.

Before you start your grind, equip the warrior class. If everyone in your party is a warrior it will make the dungeon pass by much faster than if everyone was a mage or a rogue. Other then that there isnt much of any information that i have left to give. Simply kill everything as fast as you can with the warrior class and hope that the RNG Gods are in your favor and you get the weapon. Remember, when it comes to grinds it's all about the RNG. Some people get it on their first day of grinding while others have grinded for hours or even days with no luck. If you dont get it after awhile it's not your fault. Remember it's mostly RNG when it comes to grinding.

In conclusion don't expect to get this weapon so easily. Then again maybe the RNG is in your favor. Either way this weapon will eventually be replaced by more powerful weapons in the future so don't be mad if you havent gotten it. Even I havent gotten this weapon after a long while of grinding.
