ELIMINATE DEADZONE (G29/27/25 WHEELs)

Have you ever noticed a minimal "empty spot", while you are driving?... you think "maybe is a lack of FFB", and you raise the level, but still while the steer is straight, the same feel comes again?
Well maybe this, help you out.

Open Profiler and match parameters

Now we need to change, some stuff in the Assetto corsa .ini files

1. Open the controls.ini:
you find this ini in: "C:\Users\%username%\Documents\Assetto Corsa\cfg\controls.ini"

and match it:

2. open the ff_post_process.ini
you find this ini in: "C:\Users\%username%\Documents\Assetto Corsa\cfg\ff_post_process.ini"

match :

3. open the assetto_corsa.ini:
you find this ini in: "%...%\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\assettocorsa\system\cfg\assetto_corsa.ini"

match parameters :

DRIVE LIKE NEVER BEFORE

Before meddling around with the outdated kunos assetto corsa launcher, id recommend using content manager for AC (acstuff.ru). makes setting up & launching the game more convenient + a load of useful options, features and QoL updates. (custom shaders patch, together with SOL mod enhances the games functionality and graphics tremendously)
on top of that you can also do a wheelcheck and generate a custom LUT for more refined ffb. takes every wheel to another level and. also there is ffbclip which eliminates unnecessary clipping and provides additional options.

@CXN2615 Be careful, because if you use alt + tab while opening the game, windows will sometimes disable the G27's feedback. This happens to me when I am playing in my VR, and I open an app while I configure the game.

@CXN2615 Weird, and strange. Delete the all the files .ini. After that check integrity from steam, and automatically Steam will download the missing components. cheers!

I'm sorry, but this just eliminated all physical input and makes my G27 a sprin loaded wheel...no reaction to bump, understeel oversteel whatsoever....
Anyone got the default value? I forget to backup.....

Old thread? Yes. Fixes the G27 wheel? Absolutely. Can brake later allowing the turn in to occur as it would in real life. Thank you for upgrading my car portfolio!

Anyone have a setup for Direct Drive wheels? Like the DD2? huge deadzone in it for me
