.EXE files
Just run the .EXE and it will ask where you want to install it, just select "GameData" from your battlefront 2's directory. Once it is finished the mod will be playable. (MOST MODS REQUIRE THE UNOFFICIAL V 1.3 PATCH!) Here is the 1.3 patch: http://www.moddb.com/games/star-wars-battlefront-ii/downloads/the-unofficial-v13-patch-revision-129-final
.ZIP files or .RAR files.
Most mods have a readme file, just read it and figure out where the mods go. If they do NOT have one then leave a comment saying the mod and the files within this folder. 90% of the time they will tell you it goes in a specific directory or in GameData so always check the readme and backup your game in case you mess up!
(DOWNLOAD WINRAR OR 7ZIP TO OPEN THE .RAR FILES!) Link: http://www.7-zip.org/download.html
The End
Hope this helped you guys out! If it did make sure to leave a like and show your other friends this!

Please keep the comments friendly though. :D

Leave a comment if you have any questions, I will try and answer them as soon as I can!

I made this guide god knows how long ago modding it has always been somewhat simple unless you put in more mods than the game can chew, I tried doing that recently and had to start from scratch cause I couldnt mix and match the mods I wanted lol
My tutorial honestly sucks I should rewrite it and make it look better and easier to read through

Are you opening it with 7-Zip or WinRaR? Those are the only 2 applications that can open the file of .rar (I recommend 7-zip since it is easier)

KittyMcKitKat As long as you install them properly the game should be just fine worst case scenario and it breaks you can reinstall the game and try again, id recommend backing up your game and restoring it if it goes wrong

Authentic Tincan if you’re using a exe file you probably have to manually select it, it doesn’t always select your steam directory.

I apologize for being late on comments I’m offline for weeks at a time due to school being a bigger problem than anything else so I’ll be unable to provide immediate responses until probably around Christmas when I’m in a (hopefully ) better spot.

SinisterFarquaad so there’s a good chunk of possible problems, it can be either the way you are installing them is incorrect, or it could be something conflicting? I had no issues when I installed it but look at where you downloaded it from, view any readme files (cause I haven’t been on my pc in a while so I don’t know how the install went) but keep an eye out cause I think all the files go into different places of your game folder, I’ll look into it though
