Cry's HUD and Config With Custom Crosshairs
Από cry
A HUD made from scratch using Xyfurion's HudEdit V 2.0.1 and basic Unreal Engine knowledge, and a graphics config made by combining 2 existing configs (Sick6 Newb's and Lightning's) and tweaking them just a little with some random custom crosshairs i made.

Introduction
My initial aim was to create a HUD that was compact but didn't occupy much space on the center of the screen like Cow's compact hud. After making the HUD i tweaked my graphics settings and made some crosshairs. After having too much stuff at my hands to use just myself, i decided to share it with you guys.

The HUD
Features
  • Teammates now have green names above their heads.
  • Teammates now appear purple in the chatbox.
  • Minimap is now moved to the upper left corner (just like CS).
  • Slightly moved the chatbox down since the minimap isnt there anymore.
  • Abbilities, ammo counter and health bar are now moved into the middle.
  • Round timer is now under the health bar.
  • Badge notifications now appear on the right side of the screen under the killfeed.
  • Information of the person you are inspecting is now slightly moved.

Graphics Config
Features
  • Improves FPS
  • Lower overall quality.
  • High quality gun and merc models.
  • Nothing too potato.
Custom Crosshairs
I switch between "one" and "basic" but the other 3 are fun to play with.
  • one

  • basic

  • reverse

  • pastelheart

  • ninjaeye

Installation
The HUD

Simply replace the "ShooterUI.ini" in your "C:\Users\username\Documents\My Games\UnrealEngine3\ShooterGame\Config" folder with the "ShooterUI.ini" provided in the .rar file in the links section.

Graphics Config

Just like the hud replace the "ShooterEngine.ini" in your "C:\Users\username\Documents\My Games\UnrealEngine3\ShooterGame\Config" folder with the "ShooterEngine.ini" provided in the .rar file in the links section.

Crosshairs

Pick the crosshair you want then put the .png file into "C:\Users\username\Documents\My Games\UnrealEngine3\ShooterGame\CustomCrosshair". Then rename the file "CustomCrosshair".

guys if you have a audio problem go to User/MyGames/Unrealengine3/Shootergame/config/Shooterengine.ini
find
[XAudio2.XAudio2Device]
MaxChannels=64
CommonAudioPoolSize=64

this may fix the problem it did for me
lower the max channels or put them higher how ever it works for you :D
