Ridgeway Railway

Description
This is a fictional route in the 1960's or 1970's period which could be any region of the UK.

Basically an end to end route except there are 6 ends and 12 routes inter-connected. There are 13 stations and a total of over 30 miles of lines.

There are plenty of opportunities for goods movements because the route includes a coal mine, a quarry, a gas works, a dairy, an oil depot and a dock. Also each station has a goods yard.

Only two items are required for this route:

- Settle to Carlisle.
- Western Lines of Scotland.

This is a route designed to promote operational interest and I hope you enjoy using it as much as I did making it.

This route has been made Final so scenarios can be published.

Hello Roland. Sorry I am not going to be any help to you. I don't know any route that has a quarry metal discharge loader. I don't have the 'Hatchet Hill Quarry' or 'Stevens Pass' routes myself. Anyway thanks for your comments and best wishes for your route.

@heyjoe I have just subscribed to this route, which is as good as your previous routes.
Anyway I am interested in the loader at your Quarry, I noticed it is actually a coal loader and wondered if there is a loader available anymore for quarry metal discharge?
I know what will show up in the wagons will be dependent on the wagon type, not what is shown coming from the loader. But it would be nice to find a loader that will do the same as that one which came with the Hatchet Hill Quarry.
Do you know of one being available that is available through a UK route that could be used in the Workshop?
Why I am asking is I wish to re-master my "Whatley Quarry" route that uses loaders from both "Hatchet Hill Quarry" and "Stevens Pass", both now unavailable to the Rest of the World.
Cheers, Roland.
