Highly detailed Volkswagen VW T6 - German taxi (VW model "Caravelle")

This taxi is common in Germany. Taxi companies use it to transport groups up to 9 persons.

Working lights and direction indicators. Taxi sign is glowing in the dark.

Model is based on a car shematic and was made with Blender. Texture is 100% hand drawn(!) and highly detailed. Details also in specular map (for "shinyness") and normal map (3D effect at textures).

I added you on Discord. Everyone is allowed to modify my files as long as proper credit (adding me using the steam credit tool) is given. Since I lost my hard drive, original files are gone.

Love it realy nice. I'm using it in my european inspired city. its sad that they are not many good fgerman taxi's. The most taxi's are to bright. You did a amazing job ion de model and the coloring!

News for you guys! Since my SSD crashed all my original files got lost. I won't find motivation to make new models or variations but I will stay active in the community. I allow everybody to take my models and change or retexture them for Cities:Skylines, as long as you give me credit in the description and insert me as co-author in the input field provided by Steam for this. So feel free to continue my work on your own following these simple rules. :)

Ich habe mich bewusst für ein paar mehr Details entschieden. Würde ich mich an die 1000er Grenze halten, müsste ich die Qualität des Modells fast halbieren. Was das für die Optik bedeutet, kann sich jeder ausmalen. Wenn man so weit rauszoomt, dass man viele gespawnte Fahrzeuge sieht, wird das LOD-Modell geladen. Zu Performance-Einbrüchen sollte es also nur dann kommen, wenn besonders viele Fahrzeuge auch ohne Zoom zu sehen sind, z.B. ein Verkehrsstau mit mittelmäßiger PC-Hardware. Ich achte dennoch bei jedem Modell darauf, dass die Tris so tief wie möglich gehalten werden.

Optisch sind Deine Fahrzeuge wirkich super. Sehr hoher Detailgrad.
Dies macht sich leider noch immer in einem hohen Tris-Wert (s. Mesh Info) bemerkbar. Dies geht insbesondere bei spawnenden "Vehicle" - deren Vielzahl - auf die Performance. Somit habe ich bis dato auch nur Dein Polizeifahrzeug in Verwendung. Leider...
