Want more than one kitten? Do not sleep though the days until they are born. You will only get one kitten. Instead, give your mate three gifts every day and talk to them. Look at the beating red heart and make sure it's flashing red as fast as it can. You should get 3-4 kittens if you keep it up. If you only want 2-3 give your mate one gift every day. Cheers!

For about the next 10-17 days your kittens will just sleep. You will have one or two move around before the rest. Your mate will keep a watch over them. They are mostly boring but some of the messages can be nice like" Their paws stretch out to you in their sleep."

The kittens will move out of the bed a little. The one that sat up in bed first was the one in my litter that was the first to move out of bed for a very short amount of time. They will accept gifts and have different personalities, one loves quiet time and the others are shouting or moving. One hates fish the other loves it ect. The photos show their different personalities. For the test they were all given a dove.

Now all of the kittens should be up and about at 15-20 days since birth. They will stay inside of the nursery and your mate will still be there as well. Keep on giving them food to ensure a good bond.

Now the kittens are moving around the den and have a wider range of responses.

Now, they can go into the world with you. Beware that they can take damage so taking them into battle would be a poor choice. They will stalk prey with you but will often miss and try to chase after it scaring away a lot of food. They will also gather up some plants in the nearby area and give it to you.

They will have a small bar in the corner that shows health and relationship status as shown above and has the option to have them follow you around. At any time in the outside world you can send them back to the den by talking with them and selecting the bar that says "Go back to the den."

They can be very fun to watch as they mimic your hunting.

They will gather plants and get food, they will even fight in battle. It take some time for a kitten to level up, they will need about 50 exp for level1. I found that one of the best ways to take them into battles, i was ready to lose one kitten but all that happens is they go back to the den. They will have to heal up for a little bit but this does not impact your relationship with them.

Here is one of them fighting, they are actuality very good, with every level up they gain more hit points (10 per level) and notice plants faster than before and have better chances at their hunting.


Once they are level ten they do not grow faster or anything, they are just really good hunters and gathers.

Another method is to take them minning. Bring herbs and food and get ready for a good long trip! (Credit for this goes to Drrunawaykitten)

The best way is to have a very large territory to gather plants from.
Each kitten will have to be walked around the plant a few times for the AI to realize that it can pick it up. Rubbing against the plant seems to help get it noticed faster.

Prey will need to be focused in by you. Once the blue circle above is full get closer and then the kitten will pounce on it. They will get about 5 exp per catch they make. Happy hunting!

For every time they attack a cat they will get about 2-3 exp per hit they get onto a cat. If their health goes all the way down to zero they will say "I'm not feeling too well" and then go home so you are not risking their lives taking them into battle. A kitten may level up twice in one normal battle if they are at a lower level.
This symbol at the top means they need to heal up, they are at zero health.

At a five star relationship you will be able to use your kitten's coat color. In two years they will be fully grown and start to give you gifts if you have a good relationship with them. Such as catnip...

When you get up go right to your mate and give a gift or just talk to them, then do the same for each of the kittens. After that go outside and take care of as many battles as you can take on. By 10 Am you should be done even if the two battles are far apart. Use the rest of the day to hunt and forge for plants that you can sell or stockpile. At 6;30PM start to head back to the den or use the warp before 9:30PM. You can talk with your mate again and the kittens, decorate the den, sell off extra items, go back out for more hunting or just go to bed after saving the game.
Note that this is just a recommendation that has worked out well for me so far. Please send any ideas for a better one that you might have.

First start of the day, save your game. After that, go straight to talking to your mate, maybe give them a gift to strengthen your bond, and talk to the kittens. Give your kittens a gift and choose the kit you want to train. At 8:30 Am or so, you should be heading outside. Check the Task board and maybe do the daily battles. You will get some exp for your kit and some Mews while your at it. You should be done with the battles between 11:29 Am - 3:39 Pm depending on when you start or how far apart they are.

After the daily battles, practice hunting, foraging, or do the puzzle things. At 7:30 Pm, you should start heading back. Send your kit home, or teleport. Once your home, (probably at 8:30 - 9:00 pm,) get your reward for the daily task thing if you did it, and go to sleep.

What happens to my kitten if you give your mate a black rose?

A: Nothing, they will be there with you in your den still. Your mate will not be happy with you though.

What will happen if I leave the current colony, will my kits come along?

A:Yes, this goes for the update as well. They will never leave your basement.

What happens if I give my kitten a renaming/recolor token?

A : They will take it as a gift, you cannot change the most cringe worthy names.

Do I need the storage room to have kittens?

A:No, all you need is the nursery.

Can I bring my kittens to the festivals?

A:Yes you can, so long as they are following you.
