Beskrivning
"The one gift I have is my unyielding resolve. I am willing to weather any storm in order to seize victory."

In this mod, play as the fair and just Marquess of Pherae, Eliwood, from Fire Emblem: The Blazing Blade!
Note: This mod was made and tested with BNW, so I can't guarantee that this mod will work properly without the aformentioned DLC.

Unlike his companion nations, the industrious Ostia or the culture-potent Sacae, Eliwood's Pherae is a diplomatic civ that focuses on establishing deep ties with city-states through trade routes. By protecting and investing into ones trade routes with city-states, Pherae can establish a hard-to-break sphere of influence with its mercantile partners, all while enjoying substantial yield bonuses for Pherae's trading cities to reap the rewards of.
Embrace the valor of Roland, and lead Pherae to a prosperous future!
UA: Valor of Roland
When completing a Trade Route to a city-state, a Marquess' Embassy is built in the target city. Upon becoming allies with a City-State, all units get +1 movement and +20% CS for 5 turns.

UU: Great Peddler (Great Merchant)
Can construct the Transporter Tent

UI: Transporter Tent
+6 Gold
Connects any strategic resource it is built on
Benefits from the same technological and ideological tenant yield bonuses as the Customs House
Upon being built, grant all adjacent units the March promotion, and spawns another Great Peddler with an improved trade mission

UB: Marquess' Embassy (Garden)
+35% Great People rate
Doesn't require Fresh Water to be built
When a city with a Marquess' Embassy completes a trade route to a city-state, gain 80 Production in the origin city and 40 influence with the city-state, decreasing for each outgoing trade route to a city-state coming from this city.
When a city completes a trade route to a city-state that has the Marquess' Embassy, gain 80 Food and 40 points to all Great People in the origin city, decreasing for each outgoing trade route to a city-state coming from this city.
If a city-state has an established Marquess' Embassy and goes to war with Pherae, their Marquess' Embassy is destroyed.

If you have 7zip, it will open the .civ5mod file, and you can simply grab the folder in there and drop it into the MODS folder. I've grabbed several mods in the last day or so that aren't unpacking by themselves, so I'm having to do it manually. The civ5mod file will download, but the game will just leave it as is and not do anything with it.

Do you have a .zip file for this? The .zip for your Hector mod worked for me, but I can't subscribe to this one or use the direct download to use it.

Works after manually extracting, Steam client isn't extracting the .civ5mod file when downloading.

Try using the direct link instead of downloading off of the workshop

Since the latest update mod has disappeared from the in-game list and won't reappear even after uninstalling and re-installing. Is there something I can do to try and fix it for myself?

Thanks for the quick response!

I have a small problem with this civ: Whenever I activate this mod alongside the Civ IV Traits mod Eliwood appears in my list of civs as "TXT_KEY_LEADER_ELIWOOD_CIV_IV". As recently as two days ago Eliwood was appearing normally, so I don't know what happened. Please advise.

Fire Emblem is basically a turn based strategy game/JRPG. The strategy is speicfically unit based, as opposed to Civ's diplomatic and city-building focuses. It's definitely worth a play if you are interested by what you see here. Eliwood in particular is one of the main lords from Fire Emblem 7, also known as "Fire Emblem" or "Fire Emblem: Rekka no Ken" for the Gameboy Advanced.
