- As PAVN/NLF commander you can press N (default) to use ambush tactics, it will rapidly spawn every dead player in your team (if you have tickets left), without need to use radio, use it on cap-points/crucial places. (It triggers me to see where commander spawn you directly on radio nowhere near cap, and you have run through the jungle like fool)

- Same thing with south commander, but it will spawn players where they "clicked" on respawn menu, ex.: If someone took SL spawn, he will spawn there, if someone on normal spawn, he will spawn there.

Some weapons like Izh (NV double barrel shotgun) have different ammo types, which you can choose on class menu, and when in battle you can cycle thru them with C (i would rather use normal rounds rather than SABOT, due to accuracy on this gun even with normal shots), same thing with M79 Blooper, it has smoke/shrapnel/HE rounds.

In game you have variety fire support to choose from, Phantom napalm strike, artillery, Canberra bombing run, but did you know you can choose from which side the Phantom/Canberra can strike? Just hold RMB on your artillery mark and choose the line of approach.

Some weapons have folding stock, like CAR-15, Type-56-1 etc. you can fold them/unfold with C, folding them means worse handling of gun but better ergonomy, what means you can aim faster, move faster etc., use this feature mainly in close quarters... cause on long range battles best option is to have best accuracy.

You can use binoculars/manual marking, but also SL and TL have purple smoke to use (only south vietnam), you can mark targets with which are out of your sight ex.: behind buildings.

AKM stands for Avtomat Kalashnikova Modernizovany (Kalashnikov's modernized automatic rifle), which use the same cartridge as his "dad" which is 7,62mm, but difference between standard AK and AKM is velocity and rate of fire, AKM have lower velocity and rate of fire which means it's better up to medium/close range (you can try to shoot far targets but remember you have lower velocity), where Type-56 have greater rate of fire with better velocity so you can even hit targets that are far and also moving (if you have good eye to hit pixels), and gives you slightly bigger advantage in close quarters.

(Personally i use Type-56-1, because you can fold stock which is useful in trenches, tunnels, buldings, combined with high velocity makes this weapon versatile on any range)

M16A1 uses 5,56mm cartridge, which is more deadly than 7,62 in some points (5,56 stays in body after hit where 7,62 can penetrate, that's why newer AK rifles use 5,56 ex. AK-12 and 5,45 ex. AK-74's). But best thing about this weapon in comparison to AK, is his velocity and overall control of this gun even with full auto, i have no problem to hit far targets even with full automatic fire, where with AK i can struggle sometimes to do so, due to caliber of the round, 5,56 uses "less" knocking power than 7,62 which reduces kick of the gun.

M16A1 : Almost no kick, better accuracy with full auto fire, deadlier in SOME aspects bullets, high velocity.

AK (mainly Type-56) : Big kick, bad accuracy with full auto on distances, bullets can sometimes penetrate body what means your target will still be alive but bleeding.

M16A1 > Type-56 > AKM (Yes for me Type-56 is better than AKM due to his accuracy on distances, and almost no bullet drop)

( i know it might not be "tip" but some people don't know that M16 can be deadlier than AK rifles)
