i dont know if there was a patch but for the ANH-1E assault max survival gives +10% armor +25% structure -50% fall damage +1.5 ams damage and -8% crit hit chance

Armor and structure boosts are different for every weight and the cooldown boosts are different between clan and IS mechs.
