@Mad_Mike the lore behind the armor is that before the war it was a full body riot armor, that somewhat resembled clone trooper armor, after the bombs fell and the NCR was established they actually only took the chest and back plate, made designs and mass produced them for the rangers, there are military variants like the survivalist, but from what I understand the rangers prefer it for its good protection from rads, raiders, and whatever else. but also like how simple and low profile it is, making it great for scouting, sniping, or stealth based operations.

btw your rant was very easy to read, i know its a random complement, but its not without reason.

Mad_Mike its likely both, as modified armor used in the field in The Divide's NCR Branch but was never recovered due to The Divide's immense hostility, modified by soldiers and then reproduced on orders by commanders, as its extremely effective, much like the Enclave Tesla Armor, it would have been much more rare, but far more formidable.

Now, off on a random thing but what's the lore of the armor? Did the rangers get issued special equipment for riots, or dangerous missions? did they update the armor on the field? They most likely lived in the Divide after most of them died, so it's up to speculation, personally I think their's rangers (Most likely with more training) that deal with riots and dangerous missions, at least I want that.

for some reason it doesnt have a person under the armor. its all just invisible, do you think you could fix that?
