Yes the button that looks like a disk. it does not show any new ships.

It's not in templates, its in the folder with the ship icon. "workshop ship designs" is the name of the folder it is in.

I followed those instructions. Subscribed to 4 ships and a turret, restarted the game, checked all folders in the template sections and the icon in the block section in the build ship menu and the only ships there were the few that came with the game.

@hardwearcreations - subscribe to the ship, then go to build a ship in game, and select the open ship option, load this ship from your downloaded folder, and it will be your ship :)
