Just a reminder, do NOT keep the actual key. If a guard notices their key is missing, the prison will go on lockdown and the guard dogs will track you down (guard dogs can't be killed), you need to make a PLASTIC key.

Before you do the next steps, raise your intellect to 50 (or higher).

These are the ingredients you will need:

• Tub of Talcum Powder
  
• Toothpaste
  
• Lighter
  
• Comb OR Toothbrush (whichever one you find first)
  
• A strong weapon (attack damage should be AT LEAST Medium)

Craft the Tub of Talcum Powder and Toothpaste into a Wad of Putty.

Craft the Lighter and Comb OR Toothbrush into Molten Plastic.



(to increase your chances of not getting killed, craft some Plated Armor and a weapon with High or Very High attack damage)

There are multiple keys in the game, each unlocks different doors.

• Red keys allow access to areas that are usually for Guards Only!
  
• Cyan keys allow access to areas that aren't too important, but can be helpful in some prisons.
  
• Purple keys allow access through Purple doors during Lights Out, Purple doors are one way doors during Lights Out.
  
• Yellow keys allow access through Cell doors during Lights Out.
  
• Green keys allow access through Job area doors, this can be useful when you need to get into a job room without actually having that job.

To find the key you want, knock out multiple guards and look in each of their pockets.
(note: do NOT take the key or you will DIE!)

Every time you do this, the key that the guard has will appear on the map so you can easily remember who has each key.

Before you do the next steps, make sure you have the Wad of Putty with you!

Find the guard who has the key you want,
hit them

and lure them far away from the infirmary,

then knock them out.


Quickly look in the guard's pockets, find the key and take it.

Craft the Wad of Putty and Key together.

You now have the Key Mould!
NOW PUT THE KEY BACK IN THE GUARD'S POCKETS BEFORE THEY ARE SENT TO THE INFIRMARY!

(If the Guard is sent to the infirmary before you put the key back, drop it on the ground. To do this, press the TAB key on your keyboard, then hover your mouse over the key and hold down Right-Click on it.)

Now, hide in the nearest locker (or anywhere where there are no guards)
until your Heat level gets to 60 or less.

Craft the Key Mould and Molten Plastic together to make the Plastic Key!


Other important information:

• Each plastic key only has 10 uses, which means you can only go through each door 10 times before the key breaks.
  
• Be sure to place the Plastic Key in the Hidden Compartment of your desk, as you will NOT want to loose it.
