Thank you for Mega Upload!

This simple addon adds a mechanic that should have been made far sooner. Burning players and objects will be doused after getting drenched in water. Is your sweet base burning into the ground before your eyes? Toss that mofo into the lake! Had too close of a call with a fire-breathing dragon? Take a refreshing dive!

Convars
  • "extwater_enabled": Enable or disable the addon's effect.
  • "extwater_sound": Doused objects will play a sound as they get extinguished. This can be turned off if it gets too spammy.
  • "extwater_oilbarrels": Explosive barrel props will not be extinguished if set to false, restoring their functionality in the HL2 campaign.

Requires no extra addons or games.
