Background Story

Nayuta Kani was bullied a lot as a young girl (do not bully nayu ;w;), to the point where she gave up on going to school and refused to go to school, shutting herself in her room starting during junior high school. It's implied that she had been dealing with depression and isolation, but with the help of Itsuki's light novels, she eventually became a well-known upcoming novelist, inspired by Itsuki and eventually falling in love with him. She asked Itsuki out but was rejected.
