This is a port of the CSGO Hostage map, cs_insertion. The map was made by Oskmos for the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive workshop, and subsequently chosen by Valve to be in two operations, Operation Breakout and Operation Hydra.

This map port was made with Oskmos's express permission. He not only made the map but also most of its models and textures, so please visit his Steam Workshop to see his other great maps!

Insertion is a map set in Sweden, and is large and open which is very unusual for CSGO. In the center of it, there's a modern house (with all rooms accessible: kitchen, living room, bathroom, toilet, garage, bedroom, attic...) with two smaller guest houses nearby, and a barn and also a water garage, since the property is near a large body of water. All around those buildings, there are fields and woods that you can freely explore. Oh, and there's also a little wooden platform in a tree! For reference, the property is called Elmers Gård.

I've adapted the map to GMod, which means the following:

- Fixed and added physical props all over the map
- Removed all traces of police/terrorist conflict (police vans and helicopters, terrorist vans... except in their base)

Features:

- HDR and LDR compatible
- Working soundscapes for a great sound atmosphere, identical to CSGO
- Fixed the water to be as close as possible to the original
- Fixed 4-way blends not working and turned them in 2-way blends
- Physical props all over the map
- Navigation mesh included
- Fully AI noded
- Color correction included (use mat_colorcorrection 0 in console to turn off)
- Working cubemaps
- Fully optimized

How to access the terrorist and counter-terrorist spawns

The terrorist spawn is a small closed-in garage. To access it, simply go into the boat hangar by the water, look directly to the water, and noclip beyond it. You should find it very quickly, it's right outside the map boundaries.

The counter-terrorist spawn is a hangar in a military base. To access it, position yourself on top of the main house's chimney, and look straight at the tall tree by the water, behind the yellow house. Noclip in that direction, looking straight without going up and down, and you should find it after a few seconds. If you've not found it after 10 seconds, kill yourself and try again.
