Iv'e put a ton of work into it and i believe its the best one yet.

HUGE UPDATE!

- Heavily optimized the mission to reduce lag/low fps. Runs better than ever now.
- Added new ambient sounds and dialog from the movie into the mission.
- Made it a little bit easier due to some feedback from the community.
- Added visible tasks.
- The American sniper is finally equipped with the Springfield.
- New outro scene.

THE MISSION:

Long did I search for a fast-paced, intense D-day mission. Without finding anything satisfying, I created this. Inspired by the opening scene of Saving Private Ryan. Starting with you and your fellow allies as the ramps go down, make your way up to the german defense line to secure the beach.

If you manage to survive the carnage on the beach and get to the top of the bluffs, some of the germans will surrender and some will fight to the death.

Mission completion when you reach the small german officers-barrack, step inside and kill the high command.

Surival tip: Get to the sea wall as fast as possible and take out the heavy MG42-nests, or risk total obliteration.

The mission is acceissible both as a Single Player Scenario and as a Multiplayer Coop/PvP mission.

Contains among other things:

- Intro and Outro scenes.
- Scripted events; explosions, animations, music etc.
- Surrendering scripts for the german side; some of the germans will
surrender when their higher-ranking team mebers die.
- Custom made battlefield to slightly resemble the landings depicted in Saving Private Ryan.

MODS NEEDED to play this mission:

- Community Base Addons
- CUP terrains core
- IFA3_AIO_LITE
- WW2_units_mas


I also recommend loading any mods which brings blood, gore and realistic bullet impacts or wounding scripts for better immersion. Beware of low fps though, some of those mods are really heavy.
