In this guide, we will be making this game more fun, and stress-free. This is the guide for those who still want the challenge but want this game to go little easy on you. (Damn those rush-hours) So please ask question if you don't understand anything. I know that I am little late, but I have just bought this game and its prequel last week. Sorry for being late!

Disclaimer
Notice that none of the changes we are going to perform will disable the achievements. They are tied in with the variables of the file. However, ethically you know we are taking a shortcut so I would say don’t play into the leaderboard (when it launches) to gain an unfair advantage. These changes we are going to make are ONLY for the ‘Career’ portion. So, use this only if you want to complete your ‘Career’ faster. And I won't take responsibility for your Steam ban if you are found to be cheating, so again use this only & ONLY for the Singleplayer portion.
Note
In this game, customer dealing time and chores timer are not as overwhelming as the last game, because they are parallel to how many 'Side dishes' and 'Negative-Buzz' you have {Yes, Negative-Buzz makes your customer more patient} so I think changing these two settings will impact the pacing of the game, and make game mechanics sluggish.

Regarding unlocking food in this game:
  • {1} Every 5th level, then with 2 items every 10th level once you reach 5 stars. Player level goes
    up to 110. So if you manipulate the level value, do so 1 minus level you need to unlock i.e.
    level 4 or 9 because then when you level up, you would unlock a food. You may set YP to
    >90 but not over 100. Keep that in mind.
  • {2} Getting gold medals in C4H mode; the more you already have, the more you need for the
    next unlock. (To unlock everything (provided you already have all the food from points 1 and
    3), you can miss 64 gold medals in total.)
  • {3} At the last few milestones of some of the daily/overall challenges.
STEP 1: Disable the Steam Cloud
To get the save file to be created you will need to first start the game with the Steam Cloud functionality ON. Then, play a 'New Game' or existing one, that doesn’t matter. Complete the 'Day 1 Task,' or wherever you are on your game’s 'Campaign.' Then 'Save & Quit' the game. Your save file will be created, however in a Steam Cloud. Now, go to game’s properties (Steam Library > Cook, Serve, Delicious!> Right-Click to choose Properties). If you are there, go to Updates tab and disable the Steam Cloud by unticking the checkbox.
STEP 2: Find the gameID
Now please refer to this; in order to find your Save file, you need to know the unique gameID which Steam assigns to every game. To find this code, go to your desktop and right-click on the game’s icon to open its properties and look for its URL, it will look something like this “steam://rungameid/386620.” This “386620” is your games ID.
STEP 3: Find your userID
Ok, if you have got to this far, now go to wherever your Steam folder is. Mine is on D: drive. Open Steam, please look for userdata folder and open your Steam userdata folder. This, too, is uniquely assigned so if you have multiple Steam accounts or someone else also uses Steam to play games on your PC, then you need to find your correct Steam userID. If that is the case, go here Steam ID Finder[steamidfinder.com] and follow search with either your Steam gamertag, or gamertag url or anything you wish. Then your Steam userID is written next to “steamID3”. You only need to know the nine digits portion after U:1:
STEP 4: Find the correct file
Now, open the userdata folder and then open the folder with your steamID. Next, search and open the folder which corresponds to this game’s ID, 386620. Then open the ‘remote’ folder. You should see files based on save slots you have created. Since I am playing in ‘Save Slot 1’ my file name is “1S_CSD2_CloudSave” If you are using ‘Save Slot 2’ let’s say, then it will be ‘2S_CSD2_CloudSave’. Now open your file in notepad or equivalent software that lets you manipulate any file. It is here when we make our desired changes to the game’s systems.
STEP 5: Manipulate the variables
Once you open this file, then you will see some variables names are confusing unlike the variables names of the previous game. I leave everything else by default, and things I change are ‘Yum Points,’ ‘Yum Level’, ‘Credits’ ‘Bronze’, ‘Silver’, ‘Gold’ and most importantly ‘C4H Shifts’ to buy new items and food varieties when they unlock in the ‘Campaign’ mode. I would only recommend you to change ‘Credits’ otherwise, the game will become very easy. I leave you guys to experiment with other variables since you may be able to guess what these other variables might be related to in-game. To those who only want the fast progress, and awesome food menu in a beautiful restaurant, then here what you need to do.
  • To change the ‘Yum Level,’ do this;
    Look for: [MyPantry]
    Change: YL to YL="99.000000"

    {Make sure there are no spaces after the equal sign NOTE: I would strongly
    discourage you manipulating this one because food unlocks are tied to this, so if you change
    your level in early stages then you will not be able to unlock certain foods until you trigger the
    unlock by actually going through challenges in Chefs for Hire & Daily Bonuses mode. If you
    really want this badly and want this to work correctly check the note sections above.}

  • To change the ‘Yum Points,’ do this;
    Look for: [MyPantry]
    Change: YP to YP="100.000000"

    {You can put anything; however, 3 digits are recommended and other than 100, meter will
    overflow NOTE: I again ask you not to do this, since this is tied to level and game
    progression}

  • To change 'Credit' balance, do this;
    Look for: [MyPantry]
    Change: YPLT to YPLT="100000.000000"

    {Anything you desire, you can become the Bill Gates of this game}

  • To change 'Bronze' medals, do this;
    Look for: [MyPantry]
    Change: YBRZ to YBRZ ="400.000000"

    {Anything you desire}

  • To change 'Silver' medals, do this;
    Look for: [MyPantry]
    Change: YSILV to YSILV ="300.000000"

    {Anything you desire once again}

  • To change 'Gold' medals, do this;
    Look for: [MyPantry]
    Change: YGLD to YGLD ="200.000000"

    {Anything you desire, for the last time, again}

  • To change ‘C4H Shifts’ medals, do this;
    Look for: [C4H]
    Change: REST1 to REST1="3.000000"

    {Caution: Don't change value for REST0 because that is your Cook,Serve,Delicious
    Restaurant. Start from REST1 and You may go to as far as REST364. Value 3.000000 gets
    you a gold on a shift, whereas 2.000000, 1.000000 gets you silver and bronze medals
    respectively}
FINAL STEP: Complete your inputs
Now to wrap these changes, save your ideal file with your changes.Now go back to your Steam game library, and enable the cloud functionality for this game. This way the changes will be uploaded; start the game and choose to play from the Steam Cloud and if prompts comes to ask for overwrite, do it. From this point, you will be able to enjoy your game without any frustration. So, this how you make changes to stuff in-game. You are not limited. Therefore, you can do whatever changes you want. But these few changes alone make the game fun and not frustrating, that is why I didn’t change other variables. Thank you and enjoy your day chefs!

~ Cheers,
Mehkind

Hello @Amifur, thank you for interest. Challenges/C4H levels have set rules which can't be changed. They have set menu, set buzz therefor no way to actually change customer patient. Only main CSD restaraunt can have patientful customers (without enabling ZEN mode). Sorry for no help. However you can get trainers for Cheat Engine (I do not prefer this way, because they are risky, and get outdated quickly with new patch) which forces variables in memory while the game is running, and this way it will affect customer patient for all level.

I would like to set the C4H levels to have infinite customer patience but still be able to earn silver & gold medals. So the medals are based on mistakes only. Is this possible? I know there is zen mode available but I would like to earn silver and gold medals still.

Thanks for sending in the new file buddy. Even after the update, no new variables have been added nor the old ones are changed. What is the issue you are facing? Thanks in advance!
