Mod Description:
Naturalises tile colours for most vanilla planets, meaning you won't find any blue desert sands or green barrens. Or blue moons e.t.c

It also adds back the odd coloured versions as rare versions of the vanilla planets so if you do want an odd coloured planet or just want a pleasant surprise they are still out there.

The reason I made this mod is that I wanted coloured planets to feel special. When every planet out there is wild and wacky nothing is wild and wacky anymore.
Not only that but I found it hard to be motivated to build thematically on strange coloured planets unless the build called for it (which it often didn't)

Note:
The Mod has a low priority set to -9998 If you want this mod to override other mods open _metadata in a text editor and change priority to a high positive number.

this mod may be conflicting with something with the desert planets

I thought for a second it was Citrus Bound.... That would be awesome, I'd help out on something like that too. lol Although I am super rusty with my spriting but I'm pretty good when I do get around to making something. :protozoid:

Im not very good with file editing, so I have no idea where the _metadata file is. Can anyone help?

I agree with the description. If everything's wild and wacky, there's no contrast... and nothing will actually look "unusual" or "strange."

Nice. Now if only this could apply to FU's Tabula Rasas... Tired of going to them only to find neon blue grass and purple-red dirt.

Trpchonaut. Its already possible for sands and earths to reach into natural reddish hues on normal planets. They are rarer than the yellower ones though. Keep looking :)

Not sure if possible but the dirts/sands having a reddish tinge is a relatively natural thing irl mainly in rainforests and some deserts. It'd be cool to still see the reddish variation but of course, 'tis your mod and it would just be random, not set to biomes(I think) and possibly color imbalance bc values are weird sometimes
