A staple of any well rounded intersection collection, the Cloverleaf is an old school favorite loved for its ability to be compacted and squeezed into smaller spaces by curving its ramps tightly. On further inspection, the Cloverleaf actually has a major flaw. It has four separate zones that cause weaving (a lane being used at the same time as an on-ramp and an off-ramp). Due to this, high volumes of traffic can cause traffic jams as traffic leaving the freeway fights traffic entering the freeway, both sharing the same roads.

A Non-weaving version is available, but lacks the grace of the original.
