I let Dragonbait carries Potions of Heroism because he can use his Heroism power on OTHER heroes but NOT himself. On the other hand, the Potion of Heroism can be used ONLY on the hero who carries it, (unlike the Potion of Healing, which can be used on either the hero who carries it or any other adjacent hero.) So, the Heroism power and potion have inverted targets: Dragonbait can use the power only on other heroes, but he can use the potion only on himself.

Of course, Dragonbait's Heroism power is better than the potion. When his accessory/utility power is fully upgraded, his Heroism power adds 20% +5 HP to another hero, and can cancel a negative condition. On the other hand, the potion can add only 2 HP to a hero and cancel a negative condition. (The cancel-a-condition effect can be saved for later, for both the power and potion.)

To alleviate Dragonbait's lack-of-range problem: I let Dragonbait carry both "Scrolls of Disintegrate" and the "Wand of Fireballs". Both items have somewhat lackluster attack and damage values compared heroes' own attack powers. However, the two items offer what Dragonbait does not have: range.

A Scroll of Disintegrate can attack any monster within 1 tile, so it can hit a monster that is slightly out of Dragonbait's reach.

Wand of Fireballs can attack 1 tile away, (i.e., the next tile.) The wand also does area-of-effect damage to every monster in a tile, which is also what Dragonbait cannot do.

The scroll and wand are much less useful for other heroes because they all have better range attacks.

"Bracers of Defense" or "Ring of Protection" gives +1 bonus to Armor Class to other heroes... BUT +2 bonus to Dragonbait! (As well as Qawasha the DLC Druid.) So, put one on Dragonbait and the other on Qawasha, or both on either Dragonbait or Qawasha to maximize the benefit of the bracers/ring.

Just one thought to the dailies. The analyse left out the possibility that not only Dragonbait stood on his own tile when used the Blessed Strike but one or more other characters. This could easily happen during a boss fight. Then the application of advantage on all heroes on that tile comes very handy and easily surpasses the Compelling Duel's "tractor beam" ability.

And I thought I was a nerd Mazurek. Seriously, what good is know alignment going to be in this game when everything you're encountering is going to kill you?

Sadly they really scewed up Alias' companion. One: the legs. I'm sorry, but Champion (His 'true' name as given in the book ''Song Of The Saurials'', book three of the Finder's Stone Trilogy) does not have a plantigrade leg structure. He is digitigrade. Two: Shen State. The original utility of this power was effectively Know Alignment. Why they've changed it to be...whatever the heck this is supposed to do is beyond me. Three: Humanoid fingers and toes? Really? Where did the claws go?

Got it; thanks! But only 1 character belongs to a race I normally play in RPGs. Damn, this game needs more elves, dwarves, etc.! ;)

@Lampros Initially, yes. However, you level up as you complete missions, and at each odd level you unlock an additional character slot. Thus, from level 7 onward, you can use up to four characters in each mission. It doesn't take very long at all to hit level 7, so for all practical purposes, you can use a 4-character party the entire game.

Can you only use 1 character in a game?
