Although the YouTube Guide might be outdated, i advice total techies beginners to watch it to get a bit of insight on the general playstyle of the hero. Thank you. :) This Guide will ALWAYS be updated, even when i don't play dota alot! Techies is a late-game securing Hero, whos only goal it is to drain the gold from his foes and extending the length of the match, creating space for his Lategame carrys to win the game, which ultimately should win you the game.
Usually you wanna play in a duo offlane to have some early Kill potential, so be sure to have some kind of stun in your lane. Also make sure, that you have someone going utility items like Pipe of Insight, Crimson Guard, Lotus Orb and stuff like that, since you won't be getting these. Good Heroes to offlane with are for example Wraith King, Centaur Warrunner, Tiny or even Pudge.
